• Hmong Village School - In the morning, guests will be picked up from their hotel in Luang Prabang at approximately 8 am for a drive about 30 kilometers west, which will take around one hour. Along the way, there will be a stop at the local Hmong Village of Ban Na Ouane to observe the daily life of this ethnic Hmong hill tribe in northern Laos.
• Kuang Si Falls - From the main entrance to this waterfall paradise, a brief walk through the forest surrounding Kuang Si leads to a unique sustainable project – Laos’ premier bear conservation center. Managed by leading bear experts and volunteers, this non-profit center in Laos aims to protect the Asian bear population from extinction due to ongoing poaching.

The falls start in shallow pools atop a steep hillside, leading to the main fall with a 50-meter, three-tiered cascade. The resulting cascades are typical of travertine waterfalls, surrounded by beautiful scenery with abundant flora and fauna. A picnic lunch will be served with the soothing sounds of the waterfall as a backdrop.

• Laos Buffalo Dairy - In the afternoon, just a 10-minute drive from Kuang Si, the tour continues to a community-supported project centered around buffalo. These gentle animals are crucial to the Laotian agricultural sector’s success. The afternoon includes activities highlighting the buffalo’s multi-functional role in agriculture. Local entrepreneurs have added other attractions for visitors, such as an extensive dairy farm and factory, a small farm with other animals, and a shop where proceeds from sales support the Lao Buffalo Dairy Farm.

After this visit, the return drive to Luang Prabang will have guests back at their hotel lobby by around 4 pm.

Transfers outside these areas, including any accommodation outside this area such as Kuang Si, along the Ou River, Nong Kiau and Luang Prabang International Airport are excluded. Supplements apply for customers who want to join this excursion outside one of these regions.

• It is the responsibility of the customer to provide us with the correct hotel information, should pick-up and drop-off services be included in the package. Any changes in accommodation outside 24 hours will be handled accordingly: changes within 24 hours may be on request
• Recommended to bring: change of clothing (2 sets), towel, swim wear and slippers / waterproof sandals.
