• Hmong Village School - In the morning, guests will be picked up from their hotel in Luang Prabang at approximately 8 am and driven about 30 kilometers west. Along the way, there will be a stop at the local Hmong Village of Ban Na Ouane to observe the daily life of this ethnic hill tribe from northern Laos. A walk through Luang Prabang’s lush jungle leads to Kuang Si, renowned as Laos’ most stunning waterfall and a must-visit for those staying in Luang Prabang.
• Free the Bears - The trail winds through untouched forests and the Asian Bear Rescue Centre until reaching the breathtaking setting of the falls.
• Kuang Si Falls - The falls start in shallow pools atop a steep hillside, leading to the main fall with a 50-meter, three-tiered cascade. The water gathers in numerous turquoise blue pools as it flows downstream. The resulting cascades are characteristic of travertine waterfalls, surrounded by beautiful scenery and abundant flora and fauna.

After taking in the scenery, visitors are welcome to swim in one of the nearby clear pools. There are also hiking paths around the waterfalls, allowing each visitor to connect more deeply with nature. Below the tiered limestone pools lies the Khmu village Ban Thapene. The Khmu men are particularly skilled basket weavers and can sometimes be seen crafting these, which are still used in the daily lives of the Laotians.

Lunch will be served near the waterfall. Guests can enjoy the scenery around the waterfall for a short time before heading back towards Luang Prabang.

• Please ensure that you bring sunglasses, a hat /cap and sunblock with a high SPF factor when traveling with us on this tour – even when it is cloudy, the sunrays still have an immense power.
• The protection of the country’s flora and fauna is of immense importance for us. We will not pursue any activities for guests that are not in line with our animal, wildlife and environment protection principles.
• It is the responsibility of the customer to provide us with the correct hotel information, should pick-up and drop-off services be included in the package. Any changes in accommodation outside 24 hours will be handled accordingly: changes within 24 hours may be on request.
• In the event of no-show or change of accommodation without prior consent and confirmation from us within 24 hours may result in the applicable cancellation charges as outlined in the terms and conditions.
• Recommended to bring: change of clothing (2 sets), towel, swim wear and slippers / waterproof sandals.
