• Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew) - Situated within the Grand Palace complex, Wat Phra Kaew is Thailand’s most sacred Buddhist temple and houses the revered Emerald Buddha, a highly venerated statue carved from a single block of jade. Built in 1782, the temple is renowned for its intricate architecture, vibrant murals, and exquisite golden details that reflect the spiritual and artistic heart of Thai culture. • Wat Phra Chetuphon - Wat Pho (the Temple of the Reclining Buddha), or Wat Phra Chetuphon, is located just behind the Temple of the Emerald Buddha and is a must-see for any first-time visitor to Bangkok. As one of the largest temple complexes in the city, it is famed for its giant reclining Buddha, which is 46 meters long and covered in gold leaf. This is a World Heritage Site.
• Temple Of Dawn (Wat Arun) - Wat Arun, locally known as Wat Chaeng, is a landmark temple on the west (Thonburi) bank of the Chao Phraya River. It is easily one of the most stunning temples in Bangkok, not only because of its riverside location but also due to its unique design compared to other temples in the Thai capital. Wat Arun (nicknamed the ‘Temple of Dawn’) is partly composed of colorfully decorated spires and stands majestically over the water.
