• National Ethnology Museum - Pause in front of the former Royal Palace, now the National Art Gallery. Discover how this graceful building became a significant symbol of Bulgaria’s modern history following the country’s independence. Learn about its ties to the Bulgarian royal family and admire one of Sofia’s most remarkable historic structures in the city center.
• Saint Nikolas Russian Church (Tsurkva Sveta Nikolai) - Visit the Church of St. Nicholas the Miracle-Maker to delve into its history and religious importance. The church features a small crypt, which may be visited if group size permits. Due to its limited space and frequent religious services, access may not always be available.

• Banya Bashi Mosque - Visit Banya Bashi Mosque, a key Ottoman-era landmark in Sofia and the city’s only functioning mosque today. Discover its history, architecture, and the role of Sofia’s Muslim community, while exploring another facet of the city’s multicultural heritage.

The tour does not include entry into the mosque, as access is not always available and visiting requires additional time for shoe removal and adherence to the rules of an active place of worship. Visitors are welcome to return and explore the mosque independently after the tour.

• Regional History Museum – Sofia / Регионален исторически музей – София - Stop by Sofia’s renowned mineral springs, located near the former Central Mineral Baths. Learn why the city has been famous for its natural hot mineral water since ancient times and how the springs have been integral to Sofia’s growth.

The guide will greet participants near the National Theater Ivan Vazov. Attendees will explore over 20 attractions and cultural landmarks in Sofia. For convenience and clear audio during the tour, audio guides and headphones will be provided. Participants can move comfortably, enter temples, and take photographs, all without needing to stay close to the guide.

The tour concludes at the Presidency, where participants can capture videos and photos of the presidential guard’s changing ceremony.
