Tailor-made guided tour - Had a good tour from a guide who had an answer to all our questions. So no standard talk and standard round, but custom.
Learned a lot from culture, history and people.

The guide Yordan showed a lot of enthusiasm and expert knowledge making the whole experience very enjoyable! He showed our group of 7 people all the main highlights of Sofia with the nice insider tips and interesting info which we expected. I definitely recommend it!

If again, it's just the guided variant. - We wouldn't do the self-guided tour like that again. Unfortunately, the dots on the Google map are not numbered consecutively or organized differently. Neither is the description. You have to search to connect the sights with the descriptions and unfortunately there are not all points descriptions/info included.
So the tour was unfortunately very exhausting and unrelaxed.
However, this applies expressly ONLY to the self-guided variant.
We cannot judge the guided tour.

Self-guided tour - This visit consists of an E-guide in PDF format sent to you the day before. The concept is good, you can visit the city center at your own pace (we took well between 4 and 5am taking the time and enjoying the coffees). Service was offered in French, so we chose this option, rather than English. I regret it (I speak fluent English) because the text contains quite a few errors that make it sometimes risky to read. It is strange because our contact, very kind, seems to have a perfect written French (exchanges by SMS). It would also be really interesting to add a photo of each place, to help us identify it at each step.
In any case, we enjoyed our visit to Sofia which made us walk well!
