The briefing includes an overview of the region in question, the local customs, and places a strong emphasis on learning a traditional dance (choro) that is unique to that area.
  Schedule:

1. We start with a concise introduction to the traditions and way of life of the Shopluka people, the Shopi temperament, the distinctive traditional attire and outfits (garbs), and the variety of dances that are emblematic of the region.
2. Practicing one of the region’s most iconic dances
3. Donning traditional attire and outfits (garbs) to execute the dance (choro) in question
4. Engaging in a competitive dance-off with rewards for the victors

‘Dance your way through Bulgaria’ is the sole workshop in Sofia that allows visitors to immerse themselves in the cultural essence of Bulgaria through dance. Participants will get an opportunity to acquire folklore dance techniques and savor native cuisine. Simultaneously, our skilled tutors will enrich your knowledge with fascinating trivia and in-depth look at local customs.
