This was such an... - This was such an entertain and informative tour with engaging and knowledgeable John. It brought to life aspects on the communist era in a non confrontational intelligent factual way. Alongside this we were able to admire many of Sofia’s heritage buildings and enjoy this remarkable city. Highly recommended. A must if visiting Sofia.

Great tour; learned so much and got to know Sofia - This was a great tour of numerous Communist sites in central Sofia. Our guide, Niki, was full of history and knowledge of the topic, and his own stories made what can seem abstract come alive. It’s a four-hour walking tour, so wear your sneakers and join!

Excellent knowledgeable tour guide - We were greeted at the beginning by a very welcoming tour guide called Martin. He put everyone at ease and was very enthusiastic, engaging and throughout the next few hours took as through a very detailed, interesting, thought provoking and personal history of communism (or rather socialism!) in Bulgaria. Unfortunately at times it was hard to hear some of Martin's talks at stops due to all the noise on the streets and in the background. 365 might want to think about investing in microphones for their tour guides. Around well over 2hrs in there was a 15 mins break. I think an earlier break or no break at all would have worked better as hard to bring everyone back for a short amount of time after such a late break. I would given 5 stars even with these issues but given the price and not being able to hear everything I feel 4 stars is a fair reflection. However, I would definitely still recommend this your, Martin and 365 tours to others.

Communist Walk - Review - The guide (Dino) was knowledgable however, he was not considerate to many members of the group (around 20 of us). I informed him on 2 occassions that an elderly gentleman in the group was left far behind and had to ask him to wait. We were not impressed with his duty of care. More consideration needed, eg it needs to be stipulated a certain level of fitness required, Dino leads at the slowest pace of the group members, he carries a colourful umbrella so he can be spotted, he does not allow a specific member of the group to monopolise his time, etc. These are just a few suggestions...
