Soaring Above the Jungle

As a seasoned traveler and surfer, I’ve always been drawn to the ocean’s vastness and the thrill of riding waves. But every now and then, I crave a different kind of adventure, one that takes me away from the familiar rhythm of the tides. That’s how I found myself in Flores, Guatemala, ready to embark on a helicopter tour over the Mayan Biosphere. The promise of soaring above the dense jungle and witnessing the grandeur of the largest pyramid in the Mayan world was too tempting to resist.
