Adventure! - What an experience! We were in Rio during the lockdown, so it was not possible to do a paragliding flight over Copacabana, but Alexander offered to fly to Maricá, a city just under an hour from Rio de Janeiro. He promised us adventure, we had it! After meeting him by boat in Niterói, Alexander took us by car near the flight site. We were welcomed in a typical restaurant, where paragliding enthusiasts gather. Daniel, a friend of his, was there; he would accompany us on this adventure. With bellies full, the buggy was waiting for us to climb the mountain. The ascent revealed an extraordinary landscape: ocean, salt lake, hills, cities, cows... we were already dazzled by this spectacle. Upon reaching the summit, Alexander and Daniel began to equip themselves and explain the procedure to us. Here we go! We were ready to take off. One after another, we take flight first. We were flying! The whole landscape that had been revealed during the ascent, was finally open to us. After about thirty minutes flying like birds, we landed in a field, near the restaurant. Alexander and Daniel transferred the photos of the flight to our cell phones, and it was time to go. Alexander dropped us off at the station to catch the boat. The adventure ended then. The experience was extraordinary and Alexander really is a golden person. He offered to come back and fly with him at the end of the lockdown to enjoy Rio de Janeiro; which we will do without hesitation! Obrigado por tudo e até breve.
