• GOLDENFLYRIO Tandem Paragliding and Hang Gliding - Experience hang gliding in Rio de Janeiro at Pedra Bonita, a mountain situated in the São Conrado area, just a 30-minute drive from Copacabana. No prior experience is necessary, as the instructor manages the flight, allowing you to enjoy one of the most thrilling adventures of your life. Flights last between 7 to 20 minutes, depending on wind conditions. For your safety, we collaborate with top pilots certified by the Brazilian Hang Gliding Association.

Tour Program:
Travelers should meet the pilots at the designated time and location indicated on the voucher.

Next, they will proceed to the club to sign the terms and pay for insurance.

They will then be transported to the mountain’s summit, a journey of approximately 15 minutes.

Upon arrival, the pilots will provide safety instructions to the passengers.

Once ready, passengers will queue and await their turn to take off.

After takeoff, flights typically last between 7 to 20 minutes, depending on wind conditions.

Upon landing at Pepino Beach, the group will wait for our staff to transfer the photos and video files to a DVD or their phones.

Once completed, passengers are free to depart.

A word of advice: Don’t be tempted to skimp a few dollars by hiring the lowest-priced flights online. Pilots with over two decades of experience demand higher pay than novice pilots who’ve just begun executing tandem flights. Spend a little more for the assurance of a safe flight! • in case customers decide not to fly once they are at the ramp, we reserve the right to retain the payment
• we do not cancel the flights based on customers own assumption that the weather or wind represents a risk
• activity happens in cloudy days as long as clouds are above the flyable zone
• not recommended to people who are scared of heights
• weight limite is 90 kilos per passenger. Sometimes we have to lower this limit to 80 kilos depending on the wind condition. In this case Paragliding will be offered to the client as second option, or we can reschedule the client or even offer a refund
• Clients must be able to run off the ramp with the pilot for about a few seconds
• Clients have to wait at least for 1 hour at the ramp before they can request cancelation. Delays can happen due to the number of people waiting at the line up, or the window of time between take offs
• Summer Time, New Years and Carnival are very busy seasons so delays can happen, which can make the waiting at the line up longer than 1 hour. Avoid booking for these times.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
