• Smithfield Terminal - Board Skyrail Rainforest Cableway for your journey to Kuranda. Once aboard you will be amazed as you glide silently over & through the rainforest. There are 2 stations enroute where you can alight and enjoy a walk through the rainforest. Visit the Rainforest Discovery Centre at Red Peak Station and take in the spectacular views at the lookouts like The Edge Lookout at Barron Falls Station.
• Freshwater Station - Board the famous train for an amazing journey, as you travel one of the world’s most scenic rail routes, through hand-hewn tunnels and over bridges spanning spectacular gorges.

An excellent choice for those with their own vehicle is to visit Kuranda. Park at the Skyrail Smithfield Terminal and gather at the covered bus stop in front of the terminal for a coach transfer to Freshwater Station. Embark on the historic Kuranda Scenic Railway to travel through the stunning Barron Gorge, offering breathtaking views of rainforest-covered mountains and cascading waterfalls. Upon arrival in Kuranda, enjoy free time to explore this charming village; free time varies based on the Train/Skyrail schedule you select. After exploring Kuranda Village, board the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway for a remarkable journey over and through the rainforest. There are two stops to explore along the way before returning to the Skyrail Smithfield Terminal where your car is parked.
