- Carrer d’Ozones, 8 - Visitors are invited to explore the 400-year-old historic Can Det house, featuring its magnificent garden and the traditional oil mill that maintains the age-old oil production methods. Following the tour, guests can enjoy a tasting of our oil, accompanied by other local delicacies and freshly squeezed orange juice in our dining room. The tasting includes typical Mallorcan bread, “ramallet” tomatoes, olives, almonds, orange jam, and more. We will provide a detailed explanation of the family’s involvement in the traditional cultivation of ancient olive trees, citrus fruits, and oil production. Additionally, an audiovisual presentation of the oil production process will be shown. From October to January, visitors may have the opportunity to witness live oil production, depending on olive availability. Please note, the visit does not include our orange and/or olive tree plantations. For an additional tour of these areas, please contact us in advance for arrangements and pricing information.

You can come walking from the center of Sóller. It is a 10 minutes walk from train station or town hall. If you contact us in advance we can send you the location. We strongly recommend to come on time because some days Soller might be with traffic jams and also you need time to find parking.

Nice tour in beautiful family business! - Two weeks ago we visited Can Det and had an informative and fun tour of Tomeu in this beautiful family business.
The tour ends with a delicious tasting with of course the olive oil but also other products that are grown. Definitely recommended to visit here!

Nice tour! - Wonderful experience - tasty food and an interesting history! The host was very service minded, and helpful when our ride back to Palma was cancelled and we had to rush out.

Great experience - We were allowed to spontaneously participate as a family in a guided tour, which was carried out in addition to the fixed daily tour.
We were warmly welcomed and felt really welcome. We were allowed to ask questions and the tasting had the charm and character of being at table with a Majorcan family.
The oil mill itself is impressive and the olive oil is fine.
This is the last traditional oil mill in Mallorca and still a family business.
You do not have an online shop, but ship 5-liter containers on request.

Fantastic local quality tour - We had a Tomeu and his son took us to the family olive and orange farm, where they shred their great knowledge and amazing set up. We then joined the tour party for the tour of the Olive mill and delicious local product and their own. They made us feel very welcome and would be sure to go back again.

Amazing experience at a family run olive oil factory! - Our tour guide was absolutely fantastic. He talked us through the history of his families olive oil production very thoroughly. The house is a beautiful piece of Mallorcan architecture and the tasting alongside lunch was a brilliant experience. The final touches of including their orange juice and other products was the cherry on the cake - as well as them allowing us to park our car in their space. 100% recommend for anyone visiting Sóller!
