This was our second time to Saddleback Ranch for a dinner sleigh ride. Love the views, ambiance, and hospitality. My only suggestion is to have an option of an adults only night. The kids can get a little rowdy & loud. Especially, the ones with little supervision by their parents! I have absolutely nothing against children being able to enjoy this adventure as I have a child. It would just be nice to have the option to attend with no children. Several of the other guests around us were voicing the same opinion.
The whole SaddleBack Ranch experience is fantastic. We did it all. Horseback riding. Snowmobiling. And tubbing. It was Great.
The staff were terrific and the food was also. Great family outing.
There were only 2 couples (including us) and I think it would have been better to sit us together instead of opposite tables. Everyone else was a family or friend group. We did move our places to the group next to us and had nice conversations. Also, wondering why we kept stopping on the ride. Was it to make it last the half hour? Would it have been better to do a couple of loops instead. We were on the sleigh where the lady got a bloody nose and face partly because every time it stopped it would make a really jerky start sometimes without warning. My husband almost fell off the end on one of the starts
5 stars plus. Really awesome experience. Super friendly people great family atmosphere beautiful place . Sleigh ride was awesome . Dinner at end of ride was in one of the most beautiful buildings I've ever seen . Food was even better (New York strip baked beans baked potato with the fixings ) over all experience convinced me to plan another trip next year. For whole family and grand children . Can't say enough good things about them . Justin our wrangler made us fell at home and treated us like we where the only ones on the place . Agian I can't say enough .Truly amazing place
The sleigh ride was beautiful against the backdrop of God's majestic masterpiece. My steak and my husband's steak had too much gristle and we were unable to chew it. Other than that it was a fantastic evening! I was thrilled that grace was said before the meal. We should always give thanks for God's bountiful blessings!
I like that you picked us up. I like that you immediately got us on the sleigh as it was cold & we were hungry. I was worried about the 25 year old horse pulling our sleigh & having to take breaks. Ruined our relaxing & just being in the moment a bit. The staff was great!!! We loved the facility. We had steak it was tough! Not pink. I would considered returning.
Our sleigh ride was a great experience - the staff was very courteous Food was very goood We appreciated all your hard work in pulling off a great time and would love to do it again.
The overall experience was wonderful, marred only by the mix up in your failure to pick up three of our guests at their home in Steamboat. I gave you there address but they ultimately had to drive themselves to join us in time. The rest of the night was wonderful as usual
We enjoyed the sleigh ride up to the lodge even when the horses were a little stubborn. In addition the food was fantastic and the Ranch did a great job. The only issue I have was that we did pay for sleigh ride up and back from the lodge and due to weather or the horses, we had to be bused back to our vehicles. Since we paid a very nice price for the full trip, it would be nice if the Ranch discounted the price due to the last part of the night being modified. All in all, it was still a wonderful time and we would do it again. Sincerely, D. M. Miles
Despite no snow, and not being able to go on a sleigh ride (which was one of the main reasons we booked it), our disappointment changed into having a delightful evening. It was a neat experience to learn about the ranch and the history as well as current work. Thanks!
It was a lovely experience overall. I felt that the atmosphere was a bit lacking at the beginning of the evening. We were in the first sleigh to arrive and it would have been nice to have maybe some music or something to make it move lively during the meal. After dinner roping was great fun to watch.
wife wanted to go
