Dancing queen - It was a great cruise. Loved the Mama Mia vibe . We were singing and dancing on the cruise on all Mama Mia songs. All the beaches were very beautiful . I loved that they gave enough beach time to swim and chill on the beach. The tour to chapel is must. Well organized tour!!

For Mama Mia and Abba Fans! - What a fantastic excursion! If you love Mama Mia and Abba, this is a great trip. We had so much fun with the music, visited beautiful Greek beaches, and had a chance to see the chapel from the movie. Enjoyed every aspect of it.

Jolly Day Out chasing Mamma Mia! - The first booking we made was cancelled when we arrived quayside in Skiathos town. The TUI rep didn’t then seek us out to check we could get back to the hotel which was disappointing. It was rescheduled to the following day. It would have been good to have had a more detailed itinerary before we left. We were able to buy tickets while on board to visit the main draw - the chapel on the little hill. However we were not given a choice about which of the 2 times to go, & that would have been good, though I appreciate that logistics might mean not everybody could have first choice. The bus journey was ok - a bit hair raising at times - hairpin bends round treacherous-looking drops (kept my eyes closed) but the driver was excellent. The chapel itself is reached by quite an arduous climb - 199 steps I believe - but it’s worth it - the views are spectacular. The boat (quite a big boat) journeys were fine (choppy seas on the way out) with an onboard cafe/bar - food/drinks not included in price of ticket. We stopped at 3 lovely beaches & were able to swim. Getting off & on the boat would be very difficult for anyone with mobility issues. All in all we had a lovely day out.

Not what we expected - It wasn’t the trip we booked and were expecting. We had heard lots of positive things about elisabet cruises which is what we booked. It was changed to this. Although the places we visited were the same there was fun atmosphere or entertainment on the boat.

Not what I thought would be - Booked through Jet2 at £45 each for the Mamma Mia tour The whole reason for me personally coming to Skiathos was for this tour We were collected from our nearest bus stop on time Upon arriving at the harbour the tour guide advised she will tell us which boat to board, but she wondered off on her phone and left us all baffled what to do We queued what we thought was the correct boat, turned out wasn’t and was sent to the boat next door The tour guide on the boat (which we believe was kalypso) was friendly young woman, but on setting off was told if we wanted to see the chapel we would have to pay €15 extra each!! Tried to find where this is on the Jet2 app but unable to find that you had to pay extra for the main part of the tour!! We stopped at one beach which was featured in the film, and caught the mini bus to the chapel, which took about 20mins, the driver stopped at the top of a hill we all embarked off to be told by another driver “down hill, 7 minutes walk” like hell it was 7 min more like 20 couldn’t understand why he didn’t drive down, not like he couldn’t as coaches easily made it to the bottom and back, and the walk back up the hill in 30+ degree heat wasn’t pleasant The chapel itself is pretty and tiny inside wasn’t what you see in the movie, (that was filmed in the studio) but view is amazing Last stop was a nice little cove, beautiful clear water background like something from Jurassic Park All in all I would suggest if you’re not an avid Mamma Mia fan give it a miss wasn’t a good experience for what you paid Maybe other companies offer better tour??

Poor communication - After a 26 hour flight delay I tried to contact the company to rearrange our booked trip for 30th Sept but theres no response, by telephone or message. I had to go through Trip Advisor, who were rubbish. After rearranging bad weather saw the trip cancelled and I requested a refund (£204) no response despite several messages and calling. I'm sure the trip would have been lovely but beware if things go wrong you could struggle to get resolution.

Unless you like very continual loud music it’s not for you - Have you ever seen a boat trip cruising past your hotel with blaring music and thinking quietly – that looks like a nightmare! Well I’m afraid the trip we went on yesterday was one of those. We chose the Skiathos Cruz company because it was the Mamma Mia one and we wanted to get to the top of the little church in Skopolos. We were aware there were a lot of other trips but this seemed to be the one cruise that took the boat directly to the Mama Mia church so this is why we chose it. The cruising itself was pleasant enough – but unsure why we were dropped off at a shingly Beach for a swim, we really have no idea. There’s no information given about any places we were heading to or any interesting facts. The staff did not willingly engage with information. My husband and I decided not to get off the boat to go for a swim at the shingle Beach and decided to stay on board and read for an hour . The music which had been playing continually and extremely loudly was still playing and despite the fact there was only possibly five of us on the boat my request to turn the music off while we read was refused and they agreed to turn it down – but only slightly. It wasn’t the cruise in itself that was a problem but the Music. It was impossible to have a conversation with each other or any of the other passengers unless you shouted. The company seemed to be completely unaware of the age group they were catering to for this trip especially at this time of year with a lot of silver surfers. Some gentle music – some lovely old Greek music - would have been lovely bearing in mind all of us boat are tourists, coming to experience Greece. We didn’t leave a tip at the end, which is something we always do. I did explain to the young man collecting the tips that the trip in itself had been lovely but the overloud music had ruined it and we would not be able to recommend it. He apologised very graciously, but somehow I don’t think things will change.

Trip never happened - no comm - Do not book any trips in advance. The trip did not happen. No communication from Viator or tour operator M&M Experience to say that the trip was not running and had been changed to islanding hoping - if we had known we would have done that trip. Instead when coach arrived at collection point we were told that our names were not on list and mama Mia trip is different bus. We were at collection point from 8:30 for 8:50 pick up. When trying to contact operator they would only communicate via text. By time they confirmed trip wasn’t going ahead we were too late to get to port to join another trip. Very let down by Viator and M&M experience. We booked this months ago to plan our holiday. My experience book with local operators at the harbour.

Don't go here! - trip was cancelled, said the money would be refunded and never have seen it since. still trying to get the money. Go to the town in the morning and book someone local and not through a register.
