Located on the charming Gülfem Sokak, this workshop invites you to delve into the world of scents under the guidance of a professional perfumer. Over the course of two hours, you’ll explore over 50 ingredients, from the classic Turkish rose to exotic sandalwood, crafting your own signature scent. As you blend your fragrance, enjoy the warmth of Turkish tea or coffee, accompanied by freshly baked cookies. This intimate setting allows for personalized attention, ensuring you leave with a 50ml bottle of your custom perfume, complete with a custom label and a recipe card to recreate your scent at home.
The workshop is available on April 26th from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and again from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, as well as on April 27th at various times throughout the day. It’s a perfect way to spend a few hours, immersing yourself in the rich history of Istanbul’s perfume traditions while uncovering hidden gems of the city. As one recent review noted on January 22, 2025:
One of the highlights of our visit - Super course and explanation of how to make perfume, plus we all got to take away the perfume that we made. Plenty of tea and coffee provided during the course. Very enjoyable afternoon. Only drawback was that this was not held at the place listed and we had to travel to the venue which wasn’t well explained in the booking. Highly recommend this for a few hours of something different in Istanbul.
