A Journey Through Time and Terrain

As a retired teacher with a penchant for road trips, the allure of Skagway’s historic charm and breathtaking landscapes was irresistible. My husband and I, seasoned travelers in our trusty RV, decided to embark on the Scenic Summit Adventure to experience the magic of Alaska’s wilderness. The tour promised a journey through Skagway’s storied past, climbing over 3,500 feet in elevation to the summit where Gold Rushers once tread. The thought of tracing the footsteps of those intrepid souls, albeit from the comfort of a heated bus, was too enticing to pass up.

Our guide, Abra, was a treasure trove of knowledge, weaving tales of the Klondike Gold Rush with the ease of a seasoned storyteller.
