3 hr. Alaska Waterfall’s Tour - My wife and I booked the Alaska Waterfalls 3 hr. Tour in Skagway. From the moment we boarded the Discovery with captain Luke and his naturalist Owen it was one of our most pleasant experiences on our vacation. Both Luke and Owen were very friendly, nice and extremely knowledgeable about Skagway and having been born and raised in the area. Our journey out of the harbor was informational about what we were going to encounter and might see from our boat along with the history of Skagway , Haines falls and the other glaciers in the area. We encountered sea lions , seals , and even some brown bears which were quite rare along with some bald eagles. We were shown many of the beautiful waterfalls and were able to get up close and have the spray kiss our faces while getting some wonderful pictures that we will treasure for a lifetime. I would highly recommend booking this boat and tour with Capt. Luke and Owen you most certainly won’t be disappointed.

No words to describe the amazing experience - If you want to do one thing in Skagway this is what you must do. Luke is a wonderful person with depth of knowledge about the area. He took us to a remote harbour all the way across Lynn Canal so we could see some wildlife… and guess what… we spotted a bear with cub!! We were able to see hundreds of waterfalls and some of them were spectacular!! Can’t thank Luke enough for the trip… every cents were worth!!

Skagway waterfalls with Luke - Best thing to do in Skagway, Alaska! We had Luke as our guide and he was amazing! It was a perfect day in Skagway… no rain, blue skies, and warm. We had so much fun. The views were spectacular and we even saw a glimpse of the Alaskan wildlife. Luke went out of his way to show us a ton of waterfalls, some of which he was able to get his boat in super close for great pictures. We felt like we were on a private tour with one other couple. Loved it!

Beautiful waterfalls and wildlife and great host - We had a great time on Luke’s tour. There were 5 of us. There was room for us to sit inside or outside. We were lucky to have beautiful weather. Luke took us to a bunch of waterfalls and pointed out wildlife along the way. He told us all about the area and Skagway and paid attention to our needs. We had been to Skagway before and wanted to do something different, and this was a good choice.

Great experience - The waterfalls tour was great! The boat slip was easy to find, and the boat was very nice. Luke was very informative and friendly. Great guide! The waterfalls were really awesome! We also saw lots of eagles and seals. We even saw an eagle chasing after a smaller bird. Luke provided us with water and some DELICIOUS smoked salmon. Great experience! Highly recommend.

Pick this excursion!!! So good!!! - This trip was absolutely amazing. We saw so many stunning waterfalls and lots of wildlife. The operators were fantastic and so personable. Only had 15 on our trip and it was great to get away from all the crowds. We would absolutely recommend booking this excursion! The smoked salmon treat was delicious. They provide sparkling and regular water. So happy we did this instead of the train trip with alllllll the other people.

Tour no show - Operator cancelled tour because there were not enough partisans but forgot to tell me.walke half an hour in 40 degree weather to find no one there. Had to call viator to get a hold of him. He did offer to come by and give me a ride back to the ship.
