Alamein & Siwa

El Alamein - A Sun Pyramids Tours representative will collect guests from their Cairo hotel at 6:00 AM, followed by a drive to Alamein, which takes approximately 3 hours.

National Military Museum Egypt - In Al Alamein, visitors will explore the historic site of the significant WWII battle, including a visit to the WWII Museum and Cemetery.

Siwa - Continue the journey to the stunning bay of Marsa Matrouh on the Mediterranean Coast, then proceed to Siwa. The drive from Alamein to Siwa takes about 6 hours. Dinner and overnight stay in Siwa.

Siwa Sightseeing

Shali Fortress - After breakfast, guests will visit the Old City of Siwa (Shali). They will then transfer to Aghurmi Village to see the Alexander Temple dedicated to the God Amon from the 26th Dynasty, followed by a visit to the Amun Ra Temple at Um Ubeyda. The tour continues with a visit to Cleopatra Spring (Ein Guba).

Shiata Lake – Bir Wahed

Siwa - After breakfast at the hotel, the journey begins at Siwa Desert with Maraki Village. The tour crosses the desert to the Great Siwa Mountain, where the first human footprint from the pre-history era can be seen.

Siwa - The safari tour continues through the dunes to the fossil area, showcasing rocky coral reefs from the Cambrian era. The tour then proceeds to Shiata Lake, a spring in the desert, offering opportunities to observe Flamenco birds, swim in the cold spring, and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. Sand surfing is also available. The tour concludes with a visit to the hot spring known as Bir Wahid for relaxation. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Siwa Oasis

Mountain of the Dead - After breakfast at the hotel, guests will visit the tombs within the Mountain of the Dead (Gabal El Maouta), including notable tombs like SI Amon, MSW Isis, and the Crocodile Tomb. The tour also includes a visit to Dakrour Mountains.

Al Beshmo Springs (Roman Springs) - Guests will then transfer to Abu Sherouf, a Siwan Village, to experience Bedouin life and enjoy the Roman Spring eye. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Siwa. Please note that Shiette Lake is closed.

Back to Cairo

Cairo - After breakfast, guests will be transferred back to their accommodation in Cairo.
