Alamein & Siwa

El Alamein - A Sun Pyramids Tours representative will collect guests from their Cairo hotel at 6:00 AM, followed by a drive to Alamein, which takes approximately 3 hours.

National Military Museum Egypt - In Alamein, visitors will explore the historic site of the significant WWII battle, including a visit to the WWII Museum and Cemetery.

Siwa - Continue the journey to the stunning bay of Marsa Matrouh on the Mediterranean Coast, then proceed to Siwa. The drive from Alamein to Siwa takes about 6 hours. Dinner and overnight stay in Siwa.

Siwa Sightseeing

Shali Fortress - After breakfast, enjoy a tour of the Old City of Siwa (Shali). Then, transfer to the Alexander Temple at Aghurmi Village, dedicated to the God Amon of the 26th Dynasty, and visit the Amun Ra Temple at Um Ubeyda. Afterwards, head to Cleopatra Spring (Ein Guba).

Shiata Lake – Bir Wahed

Siwa - Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before starting the journey in the Siwa Desert with Maraki Village. Cross the desert to the Great Siwa Mountain, where the first human footprint from the pre-history era can be seen.

Siwa - Continue the safari tour through the dunes to the fossil area, where rocky coral reefs from the Cambrian era are visible. Then, drive to Shiata Lake, a spring in the desert, offering a chance to see Flamenco birds, swim in the cold spring, and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. Sand surfing is also available. Afterwards, visit the hot spring known as Bir Wahid for a soothing experience. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Siwa Oasis

Mountain of the Dead - After breakfast at the hotel, visit the tombs within the Mountain of the Dead (Gabal El Maouta), including notable tombs like SI Amon, MSW Isis, and the Crocodile Tomb. Then, explore the Dakrour Mountains.

Al Beshmo Springs (Roman Springs) - Transfer to Abu Sherouf, a Siwan Village, to experience Bedouin life and enjoy the Roman Spring. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Siwa. Please note that Shiette Lake is closed.

Back to Cairo

Cairo - After breakfast, guests will be transferred back to their accommodation in Cairo.
