- Singapore River - The bike tour starts from the Singapore River and continues to Chinatown. Along the route, participants will be introduced to the Speakers’ Corner and Parkroyal Collection Pickering, known as the greenest hotel in Singapore. The tour will proceed through the streets of Chinatown, stopping at the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple to discuss its history and features, as well as the local lifestyle in Singapore.
- Tiong Bahru - The next stop is Tiong Bahru, the oldest housing district in Singapore. It consists of about 30 blocks of two-story social housing built by the British under the Singapore Improvement Trust (SIT). Here, participants will reminisce about the 1930s and learn how Singapore provides affordable social housing to over 80% of its population. This historic area is now a popular residential site among foreign expatriates due to its proximity to the city, unique architecture, and vibrant community.

Located near the city, it boasts numerous entertainment outlets such as bars, restaurants, and malls lining the river. If lucky, participants might spot Smooth-coated otters enjoying a family outing by the river. Caution is advised as they may bite if threatened.

- Central Fire Station - It’s time for a break at the walkway cafeteria to sample local coffee and toast or other local snacks before continuing.
- Raffles Hotel Arcade - As the tour zips along the streets of Singapore, participants will pass the famous Raffles Hotel, considered the crown jewel of Singapore’s hotels. Here, they can learn about the famous Singapore Sling, a pineapple fruit punch with gin and Benedictine (not included in the tour).
- Haji Lane - Haji Lane is home to the local indigenous community. Visitors will be captivated by the colorful street shops and beautifully painted murals on the walls. (Note: Graffiti is illegal in Singapore.) They can also admire the beautiful Sultan Mosque, which features a black ring under its dome made from soy sauce bottles, showcasing early recycling efforts. Next is the Sultan’s Palace, now open to the public as the Malay Heritage Centre museum.
- Marina Bay - Transitioning from a cultural enclave to a modern metropolis, Marina Bay, with its iconic Marina Bay Sands hotel, attracts thousands to Singapore to experience the stunning infinity pool atop the city’s largest hotel. Participants can enjoy the spectacular view of the Marina waterfront as they ride towards the F1 race track. Singapore is home to the world’s first night street race.
