Great tour, lots to eat. - Lots of food and drink. Started slow with a taste of pork, thinking we were going to get little bits of food, but turned out that we had sugar cane drink, dim sum, a local carrot dish, then went to Hawker Chan for the famous chicken a d noodles, then to another local coffee shop for coffee. The guide was very knowledgeable and told us much about life in Singapore both past and present.

Lots of tasty food and a knowledgeable guide - Grace was a great guide. Knowledgeable and friendly. Food was excellent. Perhaps a little too much! We didn't have room for one of the best stops - the roasted meat and rice from Hawker Chan. Overall I would recommend this tour.

Arrive hungry ! - Come hungry !,,, more than enough food, great variety….do this at beginning of your Singapore trip so you are well versed in what food to order for the rest of your visit . Our guide Joseph also included so much history of the area that it was like an educational food tour ❤️

Come Hungry! Great tour! - Carol did a great job choosing food for sampling, showcasing local specialties along side the famous Michelon starred Hawker Chan soya chicken. We enjoyed the small restaurants, shopfronts and bustling atmosphere of the hawker center. We chose this tour for the Michelin tasting, 5 instead of 9 stops, and because the start time was 5 pm! Although it advertises 5 tastings, there were many more. Guide provided water for everyone. She infused the walk with information about local customs and history of both Singapore and Chinatown and answered everyone's questions along the way. Group size of 8 was fine. Absolutely recommend. Come hungry!

Not for the price - I can't quite understand the good reviews. The guide was nice but seemed kind of planned. He put food on the table, a lot of it was delicious, but none of it exceptional or particularly good. There was no dessert and the tour was over after less than 2.5 hours, although it was supposed to last 3 hours. For over 60 euros I would have expected more...

Bad options - The choices of restaurants were really bad. The guide was very knowledgeable but seemed to choose very sugary options. I had a great tour in Hanoi but this really disappointed.

Not As Described - Far from the best- while the food in the Hawkers market was plentiful the tour ended after two hours. It was also the only food tour we have done (out of at least twenty) that had no desert stop. Doesn’t deserve a 4.7; spend your money and time elsewhere!

poor choice - The itinerary given does not accurately describe the tour. The first hour was a history lesson on Chinatown in the hot sun. The food tastings did not start for quite some time. When we finally got to the food stalls, it was quite chaotic, with the guide leading us in circles, looking for a place to sit. My family decided to leave after the first tasting as we were not enjoying ourselves. The guide had trouble accepting that we were leaving. We were feeling badgered for trying to depart. Viator did not accept any responsibility for their poor description and refused our request for a credit

Absolute con job. Guide didn’t arrive and we didn’t get the Michelin stared food that was advertised. - Our Guide didn’t arrive at the designated time/location, so we were tacked onto another tour which made the group bigger and meant everything took longer. We didn’t leave the meeting point till nearly half an hour after the start time. We stopped at so many more cultural scenes than expected considering this is was booked as a food tour which would have been good on a cultural tour, but not on a “foodie” tour, and found it very hard to hear the guide - especially in the Hindu temple with the priests praying. And because the group was bigger than it should have been, it was hard to get close enough to hear her talking. We completely missed the jerky meat on pagoda street, went straight to Maxwell street and missed the main meal! The food at Maxwell took ages to come out at the hawker stands and we were sat waiting with no guide or information for a large majority of the time. There was also very little information about the food. We finally left to go to the Michelin stared place which was closed by the time we got there. I feel completely conned by this tour. The guide should have known the closing times and should have been ensuring we were on time.
