• Peles Castle - Constructed by Romania’s first King, Carol I of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen, between 1873 and 1914, Peles Palace was inaugurated in 1883 and served as a summer residence. A licensed tour guide will assist with ticket purchases and lead the basic tour inside the castle. Visitors can also purchase souvenirs and enjoy a delightful cup of coffee or tea with a delicious cake after the tour. Please note that Peles Castle is closed during the winter season on Mondays and Tuesdays, and during the summer season, it is closed only on Mondays.
