If you choose not to explore the interior, you can enjoy the castle gardens or relax at a nearby café. The guide will share fascinating stories and historical insights during the visit.
Please note that Peles Castle will be closed from 3 November to 2 December for cleaning and restoration. During this period, the visit will include viewing Peles Castle from the outside and visiting Pelisor Castle instead.

Brasov Historical Center - Upon arrival in Brasov city, there will be a brief guided walking tour of Brasov’s downtown, followed by some free time for personal exploration and a lunch break.

Bran Castle (Dracula’s Castle) - Tickets are not included. The expected arrival time is between 16:15 and 17:45, so please select a 16:00 or 17:00 time slot. Choose either a Standard Ticket or Royal Tour Plus Fast Pass (please do not select a guided tour, as the TravelMaker guide will provide all necessary explanations).

We recommend booking only the first or second time slot available on your selected date. Ticket availability is limited daily, so please book as soon as possible after confirming your tour.
- Peles Castle is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays throughout the year, as well as every November for annual cleaning and preventive conservation. During this period, visitors will have the opportunity to visit Pelisor Castle instead.
- Not recommended for people with impaired mobility.

Long day, but worth seeing the castles! - It is a long day but worth it to see the castles. Pele’s castle was especially amazing. Bram Castle was nice if you wanted to think about the book Dracula. But remember there was no real vampire and the story didn’t happen at that castle. To make it a shorter day we could’ve skipped the city Braşov. We had particularly bad traffic because it was a Sunday and nice weather. It took a long time to get there and get it back. We managed to get back by 9 o’clock at night. Our guide Serban was very knowledgeable and kept us on track to get back at a reasonable hour.

Excellent Excursions, Excellent Guide and driver. - A must do trip if you're in Bucharest. Brings you into the Romania countryside with fabulous views and very well guided tours of Seles Castle, Bran Castle and beautiful town of Brasov. Impulsive tour with no regrets - It was one of the best guided experiences with a local guide who knew much about the castles and everything in between them! Şerban, our guide, took us through small historical nuances of each castle and filled up the usually quiet travel time with lively commentary, humor and sarcasm.
I booked this on a whim a day before the tour, and I was also very surprised at how well organized and prepared the TravelMaker team was in coordinating. Superb level of communication and signposting before and during the tour.

Excellent value for money - We were a group of six people. Mathew was our driver and guide. He was very friendly and attentive. The van was in excellent condition, and everything went according to plan. The tour was well worth it.

Very long but enjoyable... - Very long but enjoyable day. Serban was an excellent driver and guide. We visited the two castles and then went to Brasov. We only had an hour in Brasov. Ideally 30 minutes less at each castle and we could have had 2 hours in Brasov, which would have given more balance to the trip. Well worth the visit.

Scheduling could be improved - Very little time was left for the viewing of Bran Castle. We were fortunate to have pre-purchased fast track entry tickets, otherwise we would have not seen much. Even so, very rushed.
Brasov old town was mainly restaurants, we didn't need to be there for two hours.
The bus was clean and comfortable, the driver was excellent.

Great Castles, So-so Guide - Peles Castle was gorgeous but we missed 8-10 rooms on the tour because our TravelMaker guide made us leave early. Bran Castle was also very nice and interesting. However, we felt like we were in a mad rush all day because of our guide, Riga Serban. Brasov was a blur and the day might have been better without that stop. Our guide was one of our least favorite ever. He was a very argumentative person, unable to give a straight answer even just to which name to call him, Riga or Serban. His messages to us used them interchangeably, so it was unclear. There were several points of contention with him throughout the long day and he repeated himself so often and so loudly that it was almost comical. The transport vehicle and driver, Daniel, were great. I will recommend this trip to friends but suggest they look for one without Brasov.

So long. The Dracula... - So long. The Dracula castles is not worth seeing. So commercialized and didn’t need to see. Guide was hard to understand and talked way too much.

Cool castles, long ride - Castles were nice, but the commute is awful. We departed Bucharest at 8am and got back at 11pm. Hour at Peles, 90 minutes for lunch at Brasov, and 90 at Bran. The rest was in the van with a disengaged guide. The castles are a must-see, but be warned of travel times.
