An unforgettable day trip to Peleș Castle, Bran Castle, and Brașov -
Our day trip was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Each stop had its own charm — the elegance of Peleș Castle, the mystery surrounding Bran Castle, and the vibrant streets of Brașov — but what truly elevated the entire experience was our tour guide, Tavi.
Tavi was excellent throughout the day. He blended deep historical knowledge with a friendly, easygoing style that made every moment engaging. Whether he was explaining the royal history behind Peleș, unraveling the legends of Dracula at Bran, or pointing out hidden gems in Brașov, he always had something insightful to share. You could tell he genuinely loves what he does, and that enthusiasm made the trip even more memorable.
If you’re considering this tour, go for it — and if you’re lucky enough to have Tavi as your guide, you’re in for a truly exceptional experience.

Amazing trip, with an excellent guide - We had an amazing day on this tour, and a huge part of that was our guide, Alin. He was absolutely fantastic and really made the whole experience. His knowledge of Romania was incredible, and he was able to answer every question we threw at him with ease.
The itinerary was perfect — we visited Peleș Castle, Bran Castle, and Brașov — and Alin helped us at every stage, from giving great local tips to helping with tickets so everything ran smoothly. He was also very flexible with timings, which made the day feel relaxed rather than rushed.
The car was comfortable, and after such a full day I ended up sleeping the entire journey back — always a good sign! This tour took all the stress out of the day and let us just enjoy the experience. I can’t recommend Alin enough — truly an amazing guide and an unforgettable trip

A full day private tour... - A full day private tour in a very comfortable vehicle from Bucharest which introduced us to historical, cultural and contemporary life in regional Romania. Something for all the group on this tour, led by driver, Alin, who was informative, courteous and responsive to our interests. A must do excursion from Bucharest!

Excellent experience! - This tour was great! Octavian was flexible and went out of his way to show me a few other things I was hoping to see. He gave great insights on this history of Romania and was very fun company for the day! Would highly recommend this tour and guide!

Pavel was a great host for the day - Pavel was a great tour guide from start to end. Even prior to our booking, he communicated with us via WhatsApp and gave us options for our tour which was private as we had a wheelchair user and we had to cancel the group tour. Pavel was very informative, answered all our questions and shared so much history about Romania and more and he was funny too. We’d highly recommend the private tour as then you can do the castles as fast or slow as you want and same with Brasov town.
Unfortunately we went on a Monday so Pele was closed but great from the outside and Bran is not even a little accessible. No lift to get up to the top of the castle, just from the outside. It’s 2025, Romania could do a bit better for accessibility but Pavel on the private tour did the best he could.

We had a wonderful day... - We had a wonderful day trip from Bucharest to Transylvania, thanks to our driver/guide who was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and professional. He really brought the history of the region to life and made us feel very welcome.
The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the car was quite old and lacked the comfort we expected for a private day trip. Additionally, because of the snowy weather, the guide frequently had to use a de-icing spray on the windshield from inside or through the vents, which created a very strong chemical smell in the cabin.
Overall, the human element of the tour was 10/10, but a more modern and comfortable vehicle would have made the long drive much more enjoyable.
