Brasov Historical Center - This city was historically the regional capital of the Transylvanian Saxons in the Burzenland administrative area and a major commercial center on trade routes between East and West. It is also the birthplace of Romania’s national anthem.
Black Church (Biserica Neagra) - Constructed by the city’s German community, this is the country’s main Gothic-style monument and the largest and most significant Lutheran (Evangelical Church of Augustan Confession in Romania) place of worship in the region.

Peasant Fortified Church at Prejmer - Originally founded by the Germanic Teutonic Knights, this church was later taken over by the Transylvanian Saxon community. Cetatea Alba Iulia - The Alba Carolina Citadel is a star-shaped fortress in Alba Iulia, Romania. Its construction began on November 4, 1715, during Habsburg rule in Transylvania, and was completed in 1738. Built by 20,000 serfs, it cost approximately 3 million guldens. The citadel was erected on the site of two previous fortifications: the legionary fortress of Legio XIII Gemina and the medieval Balgrad citadel.
Castelul Corvinilor - Also known as Corvin Castle, Hunyadi Castle, or Hunedoara Castle, this Gothic-Renaissance castle in Hunedoara, Romania, is one of Europe’s largest castles and is listed among the Seven Wonders of Romania.
