Are you a skilled skier at the resort but new to backcountry skiing? No worries! If you can handle black diamond slopes at resorts, you’re ready for Colorado’s backcountry. We identify the best conditions and evaluate avalanche risks and other hidden dangers that might not be obvious to the untrained eye.

Our seasoned and professional guides will instruct you on uphill and downhill skiing techniques, risk management, and guide you through decision-making in the backcountry. Plan to spend about 75% of your time ascending and 25% skiing down, so ensure you’re in good shape and acclimatized to fully enjoy this incredible adventure.
