As per ancient readings of Culavamsa, the ancient rock citadel of Sigiriya was selected by the King Kashyapa for establishing his new capital. It was a plain rock he chosen to build his royal palace, then transformed into a mind-boggling construction. Even today, the planning behind this ancient architecture remains unrevealed and keeps us mesmerised. The king made his palace on this 200-meter high pillar rock and ornated the surfaces with vibrant frescoes. The entrance shaped like a lion gives it the name Sinhagiri, also recognised as Sigiriya. Today, it remains as one of the most visited tourist attractions and world heritage sites of Sri Lanka. Took 5hours to go to the Sigiriya site.

8 day trip, south-western Si Lanka, January - I just returned from an incredible 8-day trip around the southwestern quarter of Sri Lanka with a large group of friends, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! Our guide, Sammy, was truly exceptional—kind, thoughtful, and always making sure our wishes were met. He took care of everything, allowing us to simply enjoy the journey, and even surprised us with special moments along the way. I won’t spoil the details, but trust me, his service goes above and beyond. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a stress-free and memorable adventure in Sri Lanka!

Best experience in Sri Lanka - I’ve been with Sammy and travelled to several places in Sri Lanka. I’ve been traveling a bit and, trust me when I say that he is on of the best guides I ever had. Whatever you want to see or places you would like to go, Sammy will take you and he will do whatever is in his powers to make that a wonderful trip. If you consider traveling to Sri Lanka and need a guide, Sammy is the one you should go to!

A memorable experience with a great tour guide - Our group travelled to Sri Lanka this February via a travel agency from Romania. Sammy was our designated local tour guide. He showed us his beautiful country, full of wonders and places waiting to be explored. He is reliable, honest, resourceful, sociable, funny and also a great listener. He focused on everyone’s needs and took into account every detail of our trip. We had a great experience and we learned from him a lot of new things about Sri Lanka. A place to remember - We went to Sri Lanka in February 2024 via V500 travel agency. Our guide was Sammy, who accompanied us throughout the tour, showing professionalism, reliability and organisational spirit. He is attentive to detail, adaptable and communicative, taking into account the needs of the tourists. He is calm, patient and understanding, but also generous.
So, If you have the opportunity to visit Sri Lanka, Sammy is the best choice. We highly recommend him!

Best experience - Sammy was with us all the 10 days journey in Sri Lanka.He is so helpful and knows everything about the best beaches, restaurant, activities, attractions for adults and children.
Him and his team make us feel welcome and we had a wonderful time spending New year Eve in Sri Lanka and going in safari, and spending sunny days at Mirissa beaches.
