A Warm Welcome to Sigiriya

As I stepped off the plane at Bandaranaike International Airport, I was greeted by the warm smile of Upul Rathnayahe, my guide for the next ten days. Our journey continued to Kandy, where we visited the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic.
