Sigiriya The Ancient Rock Fortress - Upon receiving a warm welcome at Colombo Airport, you will proceed directly to Sigiriya, an ancient rock fortress situated in the northern Matale District near Dambulla in Sri Lanka’s Central Province. This site of historical and archaeological importance is dominated by a massive rock column nearly 200 meters high. In the evening, enjoy a village safari around Sigiriya Village, offering a potentially unforgettable experience.

Sigiriya The Ancient Rock Fortress - Known as Sigiriya Lion Rock, this ancient fortress is famed for its towering rock column, nearly 200 meters high. It dates back to King Kasyapa’s reign (477-495 AD), who established his capital here, adorned the walls with frescoes, and built a magnificent palace atop the rock, accessible through a giant carved lion’s mouth.

Sigiriya - Kandy

Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic - After breakfast at your hotel in Sigiriya, you will travel to Kandy, the last kingdom of Sri Lanka. En route, visit the Dambulla cave temple before proceeding to Kandy. Your first stop will be the Kandy Temple of the Tooth, a Buddhist temple in Kandy’s royal palace complex, housing the Buddha’s tooth relic. In the evening, attend the Kandy Cultural Dancing show at Hill Club. Overnight stay in Kandy.

Kandy - Nuwara Eliya

Gregory Lake - Depart early for Sri Lanka’s Hill Country, stopping at a Tea Factory to observe Ceylon tea production. Continue to Nuwara Eliya, passing beautiful waterfalls and lush tea plantations. Udawalawe National Park - After a restful sleep, head south to Udawalawa, where a thrilling jeep safari at Udawalawe National Park awaits. The park, located on the boundary of Sabaragamuwa and Uva Provinces, was established to provide a sanctuary for wildlife displaced by the Udawalawe Reservoir’s construction on the Walawe River and to protect the reservoir’s catchment. After the safari, proceed to Mirissa for an overnight stay.
