Sigatoka River Safari a must do in Fiji - The Sigatoka River Safari is a must do on your next trip to Fiji. We had a great day cruising the river and learning about the local way of life by our tour guide and Captain Phiney. The scenery was amazing and we enjoyed getting out into country side. We have recommended this tour to our friends.

Fun in the Sun - Lips (?) was our guide and showed our group a spectacular time. He stopped twice along other travels under the shade of trees and talked about what to expect when we arrive at the village and answered our many questions about Fijian culture. We were all given bottled water (but if we went again) I’d pack another one or two. All of the women were given sarongs to wear in the village and to be kept as souvenirs. The experience of the village was new to us, and the food was very tasty. At the end of the ceremony, gifts and money were given to the chief. The last highlight was when Lips had all of us in stitches when he spun 360’s in the jet boat. A tour well worth booking.

Authentic Village Experience + Adrenaline Jet Boat = Perfect Fiji Day - This was easily one of the most memorable days of our trip to Fiji. The village visit and kava ceremony were incredibly authentic and meaningful. We weren’t just “observing” — we were welcomed in. Sitting with the village, participating in the kava ceremony, and learning about their customs felt respectful and genuine rather than staged for tourists. The hospitality was heartfelt, and sharing lunch with everyone afterward made the experience even more personal. The food was fresh, traditional, and generously prepared. Then came the jet boat — and what a contrast in the best way possible. The ride itself was thrilling, but the highlight was the 360-degree spins in the river. After the Fiji heat, those turns that sprayed cool water over everyone were absolutely perfect. It was high-energy, fun, and professionally run. You felt completely safe while still getting that adrenaline rush. What made the day special was the balance — cultural immersion followed by pure fun. It didn’t feel rushed, and the team did a great job explaining the significance of the ceremony while keeping the atmosphere relaxed and engaging. If you want a day that combines real Fijian culture with something exciting and different, this is it. Highly recommend. ⸻

Wonderful 10/10 - This was an amazing experience to have while in Fiji, so glad we did! It was one of the best days I had whilst in Fiji, & the memories will last forever. The bus drive to the river was entertaining our driver Zack was educating us along the way whilst also throwing in some funny banter. Once we arrived at the river we met captain jack I was nervous about the boat ride, but soon felt confident in our driver as you could see he had a lot of experience & the cruise over & back was so much fun. The people of the Draiba village were so welcoming to us, beautiful experience & beautiful people. Highly recommend this tour!

A must do experience we will never forget. - One of the most amazing things we have done in our travels! This is a must do for anyone visiting Fiji. Our incredible driver Ace picked us up all the way at the Marriott, gave us wonderful information along the drive and brought us all the way back! (This was not a short drive) Our boat captain Josh (Captain Jack) was simply unmatched. Knowledgable and funny funny!! The villagers welcomed us with graciousness & kindness as we navigated their customs and were fed an incredible lunch. A humbling and heart warming experience we will never forget.
