Each day of the week, a different village is visited, allowing all guests to experience an authentic Fijian village and genuinely engage with Fijian culture. We collaborate with a total of 17 villages.

Sigatoka River Safari is an essential Fijian adventure, combining an exciting safari jet boat ride on the majestic Sigatoka River with a heartwarming and soul-stirring experience with your new village friends.

Your jet boat captain will bring the journey to life by sharing the rich history of the region and Fiji. Upon arrival, you’ll spend approximately 2 hours in the village, participating in a traditional kava ceremony and enjoying a delicious Fijian lunch, followed by Fijian entertainment that is sure to bring smiles to everyone’s faces.

• Off-Road Cave Safari - “Take the Road Less Travelled” as you explore the stunning Fijian interior and discover a region that holds significant historical importance for Fiji.

Your guides will enliven the tour by sharing the fascinating history of Fiji’s last war and the crucial role the mighty Naihehe Cave system played in protecting the people from attacks.

The Off-Road Cave Safari experience includes a traditional kava ceremony to seek permission to enter the cave from the bete (priests), who are the traditional guardians of the cave.

This guided experience in the cave system features natural formations like stalagmites and stalactites, along with the living history of the Nabuavaju clan. The cave is illuminated only by headlamps worn by visitors, and the incredible immersion into the cave system is brought to life by your guide and the spirit of the cave itself.

Returning to our BBQ site overlooking the stream/swimming hole, you will enjoy a relaxing time with a sumptuous Fijian lunch, allowing you to get to know your hosts and make new friends.

As you head back to the departure point, passing through villages and high-fiving the children who eagerly await your arrival, you will be all smiles by the end, and we are confident you will feel you have experienced a truly unique Fijian adventure.

This journey is enriched by knowledgeable guides who share fascinating stories about the region’s history and introduce travelers to the vibrant Fijian culture and lifestyle.

By “Taking the Road Less Travelled,” participants can witness historical and geological sites that have remained unchanged for centuries.

The Off Road Cave Safari is a half-day adventure lasting 4.5 hours, culminating in a breathtaking visit to Fiji’s most stunning cave system, the Naihehe Cave.

As part of this unique experience, permission is respectfully sought from the Bete (priests) before entering the cave system.

Guides provide valuable insights into the caves, their role during Fijian warfare, and the region’s importance in the Last War of Fiji.
