Perfect for a Fiji layover - A great introduction to Fiji, a tour combining interesting cultural experiences and stunning nature. My guide/driver was a very good source of information about the country, he was able to answer every question on history, society and politics of Fiji. I had a great layover!

A great cultural experience - Visiting the Food bowl, the pottery village where we danced with the ladies after the welcome ceremony. Views from the lookout at the national park. Our local driver Morrie customised our tour and showed us the sand dunes where they trained for the rugby and views from various locations that he knew would give great pictures of the river and town.

Don’t miss this - We ended up on a private tour for this as I don’t think many people know about the Sigatoka sand dunes! The boat tours are really popular, but you should definitely try to do this tour as well. An hour drive from Nadi, our guide Deo took us to a village where the women make pottery by hand, which we got to watch them do. We participated in a kava ceremony with them and then had a chance to buy some of their pottery- a real treat! The highlight was the sand dunes. If they ask if you’d like to do the short walk to the dunes or the long walk, choose the long walk and you won’t regret it- be ready to climb up some pretty steep sand! And unforgettable experience. The photos don’t do it justice!

Different experiences vs water activities - Our tour guide Anand explained to us about Fiji culture including education system and economy, we were the only people on the tour and he let us explore the places on our pace. Pottery village was a wonderful experience. Kava ceremony and dance. We even got to dance with them! Fascinating way to make a pottery. Walk in the sand dune was peaceful.

Fun way to see Fiji - We were the only two who joined this tour. Anand was very friendly and knowledge about Fiji culture, and helped us understand Fiji. He was friendly and gave us ample time to enjoy places we visited - the village, the market, shopping amd sand dune. The van was comfortable too.

Day trip - The tour highlight was the trip to the Village. They were so welcoming and the performance they gave us was great. I would drop the fruit and vegetables markets from the tour. We were there for less than 10 minutes and our guide explained nothing. There needs to be notice that you have to walk to the sand dunes and it is a minimum 2 hour round trip for the fit. There is a shorter path but still takes 40 minutes with some hills involved

Day trip - Great day. Bobby and Shaggi were both very nice. The village was excellent. I would suggest the fruit and vegetables markets was a waste of time. Sand dunes were nice. Tour company should let potential tourists know of the walk involved and allow time for anyone that wants to do the full walk
