Fun activity! - This was a fun activity and we learned a lot about Tuscan cooking. Francesco was very good at answering all our questions and sharing his techniques. We prepared four delicious courses (soup, pasta and the sauce for it, meat and potatoes, and dessert) with three other couples who had signed up for the same class. Lots of good conversation over our meal, and everyone had a different “favorite dish”. Would definitely recommend!!

Charmed not Chopped! - My husband and I had the best time cooking lunch. We have a couple of dietary restrictions and they accommodated all of them. We have been to cooking classes before but this one was more technical than others. We would love to go back!

Delicious and Informative Cooking Class - This was a wonderful cooking class, and one of our best meals in Italy, even though we helped make it! We can't wait to make the recipes again at home.

A Tuscan Gem!! - Scuola di Cucina di Lella is a gem!!! From the moment we walked in the door we felt right at home. We were welcomed into this beautiful kitchen by Giulia and chef Francesco with open arms. They explained all that we will be making that evening and we eagerly got right into it. We made Pici (pasta), La Pappa col Pomodoro (soup), Chicken Escalopes, roasted potatoes, and Panna Cotta which all were mouthwatering .... even right now just thinking about them. The step-by-step process was so much fun because they made it fun. Asking for voluntaries I was able to get my mind, body and soul into knowing that we can create anything if you give yourself the space to do so. I was able to share the kitchen with chef Francesco and had so much fun because he made it fun and inviting for all to partake in. Once we got back home to the states my husband and I recreated this meal only 4 days after this class (which was recommended by Giulia after our meal) and had a blast doing so. The Pici is a work in process and will not give up in trying to create this very yummy pasta. The rest of the dishes came out perfectly!! This was our first cooking class ever and now that the bar has been set extremely high it will be difficult to compare others to it because of how perfect everything was. Thank you for making the end of our Italy Tuscany journey a special one to remember!! Ciao!!

Tuscan cooking class - The instructor Francesco gave a lively and informative class on Tuscan cooking. Our main hands-on activity was making pasta by hand, as well as chopping herbs to use in various dishes. We made a famous Tuscan vegetarian soup, pasta with tomato sauce, roasted potatoes and chicken scaloppini with a panacotta for dessert. Afterwards we aere the meal prepared with our fellow students. It would have been nice to do more of the food preparation ourselves, but the chef was very informative and gave plenty of hints along with the recipes for some authentic Tuscan dishes.
