Good choice - Lovely places, food and drink abundant. You could drink the wine you wanted and we were really satisfied with the food. Antipasti, lasagna and meat with salad and potatoes. All that accompanied by a fabulous wine tasting. The beautiful views with the vineyards and the lights they had. I'd definitely repeat. Thank you!

A good experience - Celebrated my birthday there with my boyfriend and our mothers. Was lovely covered on the table, lots of food and wine. I ate veggies and they made great dishes! Recommended on the strongest

Very good - Having dinner right in the vineyard was amazing! They were also very considerate of food allergies. I went with my mom and we both had a great time eating, drinking delicious wine, and meeting new people.

Wine tasting tour - All was good except we had to taxi to the train station for pickup and they were late 30mins also dropped off same place and once again we had to pay for pickup I shouldn’t have to do that if I already paid for the tour. Other then that had a great time but we didn’t get dropped off until 11:30pm outside train station waiting another 30mins for taxi no one else around not happy with that.

Vino in the Vineyards - Pros: lovely evening in a BEAUTIFUL winery with a gracious host who really welcomed us and took great care of our group. Transportation was from Siena by bus, easy breezy. I was really looking forward to eating outside but b/c the weather was cool, they moved us inside. We tasted a LOT of wine and various aged balsamics and desert wine, dinner was great and the entire evening lasted almost 4 hours. I would recommend this to anyone in Siena as it's close by. Cons: time of the pick up changed and not everyone was notified, so communication could be better. Also alot of folks on our bus came from Florence which made for a looooooong night for them, I would recommend you take this trip from Siena only.

A lovely evening - The balsamic testing was a new experience. The food was lovely and a lot of it. Being a small group made it more fun.

Do not book this company! - This tour company cancelled our dinner and, because they ONLY communicate by WhatsApp we did not receive notice until an hour before the meet up time. The company "rescheduled" a completely different tour to replace our booking without notice. They also failed to provide clear meeting instructions. Apparently this hapoens often. Kind of a bait-and-switch game. Viator was great and provided a refund.

Just book it yourself - The tour is not properly advertised at all. The pick up point is not what it says in the ad. You will be notified that it is directly in the sun at the bus station. Our driver “hit traffic” and we stood there for 45 minutes before they arrived. I had sent numerous messages to the tour operator that went unanswered annd one message to viatour that went unanswered until I tried to call Mytour366 myself. They didn’t answer the call but did then answer my texts. They said they’d contact the guide and see what was happening. I asked where the tour was going and how long a trip. Told 25 minutes. Once picked up, we were told by the guide that we had to drive 30 minutes to pick up another group from Florence. We did that, then went the 25 minutes to the vineyards. Once at the vineyards (Mazza and Poggio ai Laghi) we really enjoyed the people and the atmosphere. The food is just ok. Wine is good! Atmosphere is wonderful. I would suggest that you just reach out to the vineyards and take the tour yourself. We had a group of ten and one member was sick. I asked for a refund for the sick member - especially seeing that we had the 45 wait at a bus station and the 30 minute drive to pick up extra passengers. We were denied. Not impressed with Viatour and not impressed with Mytour366.

Poor customer service and awful experience! - I would rate zero if I could! Note: I have since been rejected for a refund! I signed up for this experience as a solo traveler. I was notified in What’s App, which Americans don’t even use, that we would have a different departure time and meeting place than the original meeting point and time. I was a two-minutes walk away from the newly appointed time when I got a reminder from Viator to show up at the original place at the original time. That was a mile and a half from where I was standing, so I went quickly in a bit of a panic. I got there, but of course no one was there. I called, but they already had left. Their first and second concern were that it was my fault and that there would not be a refund. That is terrible customer service! I appealed to Viator, and they refused my appeal. You can read in the reviews on Viator that this is not the first mix-up with this provider due to time and meeting point changes. I travel a lot. Viator will never get my business again. I have deleted the app. Get Your Guide is my new best friend!

Missed Out due to Communication SNAFU - I would give no stars if possible. What a messy mix-up! I ended up going to the original meeting place at the original meeting time due to a Viator app notification with the original places and times, so I missed the whole experience that had I really prioritized when I scheduled it. The tour operator did try to call me, but they had used What’s App when they changed the time a few days ago, so their call cut off before I could get to it. I didn’t find it until later after they left at the new early time and the place 30 minutes away. The tragic irony is that I was only minutes from the new meeting place when the Viator app notification with the old place and time, so I hauled myself there, only to miss the dinner in the vineyard I really hoped to enjoy. My anxiety made me panic and believe the notifications (also shouldn’t one trust notifications?) They did communicate via What’s App days ago, but today’s reminder and my Viator digital ticket said the old time. The operator’s response was first “sorry” and then a more lengthy response insisting that their level of communication was appropriate and that they were clearly not to blame. I agree that I went to the wrong place at the wrong time, but I went to both places and only changed because of the notification. There is a quality control issue with the communication and updating through Viator. It’s been an expensive lesson that I can hope all can avoid. With these folks, second, third, and fourth check with them personally because whatever is posted in Viator is not to be trusted.
