- Floating Khmer Village Resort - Departing from Siem Reap, the journey will take you 28km southwest to the edge of Tonle Sap Lake, arriving at Mechrey Floating Village. This is where approximately 300 Khmer families reside, living off fishing, farming, retail, and tourism. Along the route, there will be opportunities to sample deep-fried insects, observe a rice paddy field with birds, cows, and buffaloes, and enjoy a brief buffalo cart ride. Stops will also include visits to a lotus farm and a duck farm. Upon reaching Mechrey Floating Village, you’ll encounter floating houses, a school, restaurants, a fish farm, and a crocodile farm. During the cooler months, a variety of bird species can also be seen. Please be aware that access to Mechrey Floating Village is restricted from mid-April to June, during which Chong Kneas Floating Village will be visited instead.
- War Museum Cambodia - The tour will also include a visit to the War Museum, showcasing military vehicles and weapons from the prolonged and intense civil war. The tour guide will share personal experiences from this period.
- Wat Thmey (Killing Fields) - The tour will proceed to Wat Thmey Pagoda, the site of Siem Reap’s killing fields. Here, visitors can learn about the brutal Khmer Rouge regime under Pol Pot. The tour guide will provide insights into the life and history of his family and friends during the genocide.

Beautiful day out - We had the best day with Bunpheng (tour guide) and Dinner (Driver). Bunpheng had so much knowledge that he shared with us which was very interesting and was very entertaining 😄. I would highly recommend this tour and it’s nice to do a private tour without the big crowds. Thank you for showing us your beautiful country! 🙏
