A nice day in Chiang Rai. - The tour presented good structure and organization. The staff was kind and helpful. Comfortable bus and appropriate time.

White Temple was magnificent but the tour minibus was highly dangerous. - We did a tour with Trip.com. The minibus journey was terrible due to the dangerous driving. We had an accident by our minibus driving into the rear of a vehicle in front due to being too close. A replacement minibus was found but the new driver made the situation even worse because he was trying to catch up on time lost. He drove dangerously close to vehicles in front at speeds in excess of 50 mph.
Instead of a 12 hour tour we did 14.5 hours which was very uncomfortable.
The white temple was magnificent and is highly recommended as a place to see. The other tour activities were very disappointing and not worth including.

Must-see day trip from Chiang Mai - Great day trip from Chiang Mai to see the major temples in Chiang Rai. All three temples on the itinerary are absolute must sees, with each offering something different (couldn't pick a favourite). Time spent at each temple is appropriate, but remember to be quick to see everything!

Amazing Temples to visit, but a long journey to get there. - Amazing temples to visit, particularly the White Temple and the views from the Red Temple complex were fantastic. The only downside to the trip is the long drive to reach them, although the van was comfortable and we did have a stop on the way there and back. The driver did a great job and the guide was very knowledgeable and helpful

Be careful for TripGuru - The tour itself was OK. Our guide and driver were so nice to do their work. On the other hand, TripGuru was unreliable at all. So My review is 5 stars for the guide and driver and Zero stars for TripGuru. The reason of the zero star for the TripGuru is that they are not clear for the hotel pick up policy, so I had to go to the pick up point by myself. Furthermore, I was emailed from the TripGuru that final pick up place and time were informed by 6-9 pm of the day before the trip. The TripGuru never contact me, so I had called at 10 pm, but they never answered calls. I send the message requesting the pick up time. They did not respond until almost 11pm! What a terrible operations.
Do use the TripGuru! That was my experience.
