Mr Tui, the guide that made the trip so wonderful - Had an enjoyable trip. Guide Mr Tui was wonderful and kept us entertained throughout the trip. Driver was very good and took the curves and slopes very well making the ride very comfortable. The most memorable part of the trip was the trail walking. Have to say the climbing up and down along the trail was quite exhausting, and surely describing it as a "slow walk along the trail" does give a little false impression of the trail walking. Expect alot of steps and slopes ie you are basically climbing uphill or going downhill, and walking along the ridge lines. The local guides and our guide, they are damn fit. Thank you Mr Tui.

Really good day out - Booked this trip via our Hotel Maladee at 630 the day before travel. Cost was about £89 pp which was very reasonable compared to others. Pick up 0800; 9 seater car (for 4 passengers). Water / few snacks provided. Tour guide Ms Aom was very attentive & knowledgeable. Driver (can’t remember name) was efficient & pleasant. 2 hour drive from Chaing Mai with toilet stop at 1hr. Straight to highest point and a walk around the visitor centre (more toilets). Walk around the reserve took 90min. They provide bamboo poles to help walking. Views were incredible. Took layers but was hot (so T shirt & shorts is all that’s needed). Had a thin jacket at the top (8 degrees at 0600 … was more like 14 degrees). Trainers / sturdy sandals is all needed. Then down to the twin pagodas; definitely worth a brief visit. Cracking views. Then drove to a small market bought local produce (delicious) … TAKE LOCAL CURRENCY (first stop at service station had cash machines). Visited local village and tried coffee. Had a nice lunch (included). Then drove to waterfalls; again was a nice stop. 2 hour drive back (slept all the way). Over all really good day out.

A fantastic trip - Despite the slightly rainy and foggy weather, we had a fantastic day. Our guide, Mr. Pae, was professional in introducing us to the local culture and leading us to discover the beauty of nature. The driver provided a safe trip despite the cloudy weather. The Kew Mae Pan Trail is a must-visit place for anyone who is coming to Chiang Mai. During the trek, we saw various plants and heard the chirping of birds, which made the experience even more awesome. A total immersion in nature and a peaceful experience for the mind. (BTW, the lunch was sooooo good!)

An amazing trip to the national park - Amazing tour taking you out of the city into the national park in the mountains for a trek through the forests and along the ridge of the mountain giving views over the Himalayan mountains, absolutely stunning. The trip to the beautiful twin pagodas with the beautiful gardens and the local coffee farm and the most amazing little coffee shop were also truly amazing. Our guide M was great and very informative. The restaurant we stopped at for lunch was lovely, everything was grown on the surrounding farms. The waterfall was also spectacular. Well worth doing if you are in Chiang Mai.

Chiang Mai a good spot - The tour guide M Prayut is very professional and careful, the knowledge of the sights is abundant, although it is time consuming, but it still takes us to visit Pagodas.

Good experience and nice tour guide - Our tour guide is M Prayut who is nice and friendly, speaks good English and very knowledgeable. Not only did we know more abt the spot we visited but we also know a lot more abt Chiang Mai, Lanna history and Thai local cultures. He takes very good pictures for us too, and super detailed minded. We were running a bit late for our lunch and he called the restaurant and had our meal prepared in advance. Definitely save us from starving. Would surely recommend all to pick M Prayut as their tour guide.

The absolute highlight of our Chiang Mai visit - We really can't say enough good things about this trip. Our guide, Toi, was one of the most knowledgeable, well-spoken and kindest guides I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He provided a wealth of local knowledge and interesting contextual information as he thoughtfully guided us and looked after us all day. We were taken for a great photo opportunity at the start of the tour at Thailand's highest point, and then started the nature trail. It was tough going at times for our two small children but Toi was kind and supportive, taking breaks whenever we needed them and even providing a little bit of first aid and a quick snack :) He and the local guide helped us spot a range of wildlife, insects, interesting botanicals, and edible berries and flowers, which made the spectacular hike even more interesting and rewarding. After the trail, we went for a wonderful home-cooked lunch at the Loyalty Project sustainable farm and restaurant, a beautiful place, and then on to a tribal village where we enjoyed hand-ground coffee and learned about the more traditional way of life among the locals. We finished up at a roaring waterfall and then snoozed on the comfortable bus ride home. At all times we felt safe and all our needs were perfectly attended to. All in all an unforgettable trip, thank you Toi and Mr Li!

« Trek with Ek » in Doi Inthanon - My wife and I had a full day trip to Doi Inthanon, with the exceptional « Ek » that was guiding us. Ek was full of energy, very funny, and giving us our space at the same time. We had the pick up from the hotel in Chiang Mai, then a 2 hours trek to the summit of Doi Inthanon, followed by a lunch, tasting of local coffee in a farm, and finishing with waterfalls. Thank you Ek for this memorable journey!

A little challenging, but definitely fulfilling. - The guide Pae is humorous and very friendly. One friendly tip: grab a bamboo stick at the start of the hike, it is very helpful!

Good but very touristy - We were traveling with a small group in the van:1. King Pagoda (quite nice, nice view, but probably mostly hazy/this restricted); 2. Doi Inthanan/Kew-Mae-Pan-trail (very nice , but the path is an almost continuous wooden bridge path and very crowded, also you may only walk accompanied by several guides who guard one continuously - so not a natural experience);3.highest point of Thailand (a small monument in the forest)- not really interesting 4. eat in the mountain village (that was actually amazingly original and intimate - no food stamp); 5. Coffee farm with tasting and fabric weaving (- was ok);6. Market visit: very touristy(only the fresh strawberries you absolutely have to try: taste great!) 7.Waterfall Wachirathan (beautiful waterfall - even water-bearing- unlike others that were dry)- very touristy.
