Magical Experience Seeing the Temples at Night - It was a magical experience seeing the temples at night, while avoiding the heat and crowds. I went solo, but only one other person showed up so it was close to a private tour. It took around 3hrs 30 mins in total, and for the first 2 temples you need to pay the admission fee in cash (50 Baht each). The guide Tik was really knowledgeable about each place and shared very intricate details about each temple, helped us to take photos and looked after us really well. Highly recommended and worth the cost.

Loved my tour guide,... - Loved my tour guide, forgot her name (it's been a while since I went) but she was the best! So informative and loved seeing the old town by Tuk Tuk. Many temples with so much history. Ended the tour at the night market with a yummy meal. Would recommend to anyone going to the Chiang Mai!

Excellent information - If you are lucky enough to get Tik as your guide, you will learn so much about the Buddhist practises in Thailand, and how it has blended world religions.

Great Family activity - This evening Tuk Tuk ride to the temples was a really fun way to explore the old City by night . The temples lit up in the darkness seemed more impressive & certainly less busy than the daytime . The final destination of the food market with dinner included around 9 pm was a wonderful end to a great trip. Highly recommend. The tour guide was very friendly & helpful , but a little hard to understand . So I recommend researching the temples before you go , so you have a baseline knowledge of Buddha & Buddhism .

We had a very nice time.... - We had a very nice time. I think we probably could have gone to one less temple (2 instead of 3). But it was a fun night activity and a good way to get our bearings in Chiang Mai!

Exploring the Cultural Heart of Chiang Mai - Our tour through Chiang Mai was truly memorable. Our guide impressed us with their deep knowledge of each temple we visited, making the experience both insightful and engaging. Chiang Mai is home to some of the most stunning temples in Thailand, and we were fortunate to explore several of them. The day concluded with dinner at the bustling local market—one of the largest in the city and an absolute must-visit. The vibrant atmosphere, rich flavors, and lively energy perfectly captured the spirit of Chiang Mai. For anyone eager to immerse themselves in the city’s cultural history and unique charm, this tour is highly recommended.

Good but needs better English speaking guide - The tour was as expected as far as places to see. The guide had knowledge and was nice however his English was very difficult to understand. It was very hard to follow his explanation…we were 7 on the tour from different countries and none of us could follow ..

Guide could barely speak English - Basically the interests are fun. The only problem is our tour guide could barely speak English or even understand English. It was painful to communicate with him. We didn’t get much info from his talk about the temples 😖

Don't bother. Waste of money - Waste of money. I asked for a 50% refund but I a am being kind A nice guide vlbut poor English so nobody understood what was being said. No questions or engagement which tells the whole story No info on Chaing Mai. Just the temples and Buda. We were taken to a food market. No explanation about where we were or what was going on. We gave our food orders and once we had our food we were on our own. Some vague info about go and find the tük Tük when you are ready. Very poor. Free tours have to be good and entertaining to get paid. This was money up front so no incentive.
