Thai culinary experience - I arrived to meet Moui at the meet up point & from then on the whole Thai foodie tour/education was fantastic. So full of food history, local eating places & amazing food markets, with glorious local dishes. Important to have a small breakfast!! A good group of eight worked well. Fun too.Recommended totally. Highly recommended tour! - We organised this tour to fill in some time in Chiang Mai while waiting to do a motorcycle tour. The guide was fun & informative, & we learnt a great deal about Thai food, despite being our seventh visit to Thailand. Food was generally on the spicy side, which we loved. Highly recommended tour!

Exotic cuisine. - We enjoyed trying the many types of Northern Thai and Burmese dishes. The places we ate at were clean. Our favorite dishes were the chicken and pork cooked over charcoal in the clay pots.

Brilliant 👏 - Kung was a super guide. We were a group of 5 and she was full of information. Also brought sanitizer, wipes & tissues for us. The dishes we tried were different from the norm and absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend this.

Exploration of Thai eats - We went on the Friday, January 16th tour. I appreciated greatly getting the brief historical elements of Thai cuisine and northern Thailand in general. Also, I was truly happy to be introduced to the northern Thai sausage (which I indulged in at multiple restaurants after learning about it on this tour), the pork from the Cowboy hat lady, and the coconut milk taro dessert afterwards. My main criticism though is that our guide, though super friendly and informative, just talked way too much. When we'd be in the songtaew (Thai van), she'd be talking the whole 10-15 minute ride without taking a breath. It felt there was never a time that we could get a word in. It would also happen at the restaurants. I sincerely appreciate her sharing of information, and this is not meant to be anything more than constructive criticism for improvement for future guests, but her talking did impact how I felt about the experience. All in all though, we got our value from what was spent, and the tour was worth it.
