The day concludes with a visit to the Elephant Welfare Sanctuary Park, where visitors can engage with elephants in the Mae Ping River, a major river in Chiang Mai. Enjoyed it overall - Wat Banden is beautiful and elephants are amazing! But local market wasn’t impressive and we had not been told prior to the tour that sticky waterfalls are only for those physically fit to climb up the hills

Fantastic Tour - What a great day. Blue was a fantastic guide full of knowledge who made the day extra fun. The sticky waterfall was the highlight for me and Blue took pictures with his GoPro and sent them to me. I highly recommend this company, it was my second tour in three days with them.

Great tour with Pon - We highly recommend going on this tour of the market, elephant sanctuary, temples, and sticky waterfall. Our tour guide Pon was amazing and super knowledgeable of everything. He knew so much about the temples and the elephants, especially since he was an ex-monk and worked at these sanctuaries in the past. I recommend going on an earlier tour and get to the waterfall before it gets crowded, it made it so much better.
Pon took us to his favorite restaurant and let us try some authentic Thai food, not the tourist stuff. 10/10 experience

Tu is the best! - Tu was very informative in explaining the Buddhism and monk ways with us. He was friendly, warm, and accommodating. I would recommend the tour to my friends.

Great Chiang Mai temple tour! - We had a great tour with Tom! He was very knowledgeable and getting to speak with and meditate with a practicing monk was such a cool experience. The temples are also beautiful and definitely worth seeing.

Awesome tour & so informative! - Really awesome experience & tour! The guide used to be a monk and has so much knowledge! His English is really good too so it makes it a fascinating history & cultural information be fascinating! Really recommend this tour. It's not rushed the experience and they are flexible and so friendly. The car they pick you up is a luxury type and very spacious.

Worth getting up early for - Loved everything about this trip. Sipohn was amazing, knowledgeable, approachable, fun and a fantastic photographer as well. It was a privilege to be able to see the monks and nuns chanting. Would highly recommend it is really worth an early start.

Magical Morning! - This tour was the highlight of our trip! “Handsome Tom” is by far one of the best tour guides we have ever had. His in depth knowledge of the Buddhist culture, Thai history and excellent communication skills made the trip exceptional. The temples were beautiful and I highly recommend taking the early tour as you get much of the site to yourself before the crowds arrive. The most amazing experience was learning mediation from his former student and receiving a blessing…this was truly a magical and memorable moment. We can’t say enough great things about Tom and this tour!!

Fantastic Sunrise Temple Tour with ex-monk. - Our morning Sunrise Temple Tour was unique and amazing. Our tour guide Tamna is ex-monk. He is very knowledgeable, extremely thoughtful and friendly. We enjoyed all the activities he arranged for us including sit with monks while they did their morning chanting, offering food to monks, receiving special blessing from monks, and much more. The weather was perfect for the Sunrise, and the views were breathtaking.

Can do better... - The concept is great! Upstream organization is on top. However, do not take the additional benefit in French. The guide is a woman, a Buddhist practitioner and speaks perfect English. A young man accompanies him and is supposed to translate these words into French. This step for him is a little premature knowing that Thai he is supposed to interpret the words in French, and there, it gets stuck. He is so adorable that we enjoy discussing with him, but for translation, we will have to go back. I think that this service needs to become more mature. Besides, I was a little disappointed about the offers brought by the agency (hard-boiled eggs). For the time being, take the English language delivery (if you are able to understand) and you will have a delicious time in an extraordinary environment!
