• Beijing Capital International Airport - Upon arrival, the local guide will greet you with a welcome sign displaying your name and provide a transfer to the Forbidden City, which is a 50-minute drive covering 30km.
• Forbidden City-The Palace Museum - The tour begins at Tiananmen Square, one of the largest city squares globally, spanning 44 hectares (109 acres). Situated in the heart of Beijing, Tiananmen Square has been a significant site in China’s modern history, symbolizing the struggle for national independence. After exploring Tiananmen Square, the tour proceeds to the Forbidden City, also known as the Palace Museum or Gu Gong in Chinese. Located in central Beijing, it served as the imperial palace for 24 emperors during the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368 - 1911). Construction began during the reign of Emperor Chengzu in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and took 14 years to complete. Ancient Chinese astronomers believed the Purple Star (Polaris) was at the center of heaven, where the Heavenly Emperor resided in the Purple Palace. Thus, the emperor’s palace on earth was called the Purple City, and entry was restricted without the emperor’s special permission, hence the name ‘The Purple Forbidden City’, commonly known as ‘The Forbidden City’.
  Visitors will spend 2 - 3 hours exploring the Forbidden City. With the guide’s insights and explanations, there will be ample time to fully appreciate the grandeur of this royal palace and learn about its rich history.
