Beijing Capital International Airport - Upon arrival at Beijing Airport, a driver will meet you at the airport exit according to your flight schedule and transport you to your hotel in Beijing for check-in. The rest of the day is free for you to relax at the hotel.

Mutianyu Great Wall - The Mutianyu Great Wall is the most picturesque section of the Great Wall of China. Built in the early Ming Dynasty in 1368, it stretches for 5,400 meters, with 90% covered by vegetation. Each season offers unique scenery. If hiking is too strenuous, a cable car is available as an option.

Beijing - On the return to the city, enjoy an outer view of the Bird’s Nest and Water Cube.

Travel from Beijing to Xi’an by High-Speed Train

Summer Palace (Yiheyuan) - In the morning, visit the Summer Palace, located on the western outskirts of Beijing, covering 290 hectares. Built during the Qianlong Era of the Qing Dynasty, it was designed to mimic the layout of West Lake in Hangzhou. It is now the largest and most well-preserved imperial garden in China.

Beijing West Railway Station - After lunch, transfer to Beijing West Train Station for a high-speed train to Xi’an. Upon arrival, a local driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in downtown Xi’an.

Highlights in Xi’an

The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses - Accompanied by a guide, visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, known as “the Eighth Wonder of the World.” The museum showcases exceptional sculpture and is located 30 km east of Xi’an City. Discovered by four local farmers in 1974, it is now a major attraction in China and a top site in Xi’an. The museum includes Pit 1 (the largest), Pit 2, Pit 3, and the exhibition hall of chariots and horses.

Xi’an City Wall (Chengqiang) - At noon, visit the Xi’an Ancient City Wall, the most well-preserved and largest city wall in China, built for military defense during the Ming Dynasty, about 650 years ago. You can optionally rent a bike to ride on the city wall, with the rental fee at your own expense.

Muslim Quarter - Visit Bell Tower & Drum Tower Square for an outer view of the Bell Tower and Drum Tower. Finally, explore the Muslim Quarter, the most famous food street in Xi’an.

Shaanxi History Museum - The Shaanxi History Museum is one of the largest and most renowned museums in China, housing cultural heritage unearthed in Shaanxi Province. Despite being a provincial museum, its collection of relics is of national significance in both quantity and quality, as Xi’an was the capital for over 13 dynasties in ancient China. Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Dayanta) - The Big Wild Goose Pagoda is a sacred site for worshiping Buddha. Originally built to preserve sutras and Buddha figures brought back from India by Xuanzang during the Tang Dynasty, it is now surrounded by a large garden where visitors can enjoy a pleasant walk.

Pudong International Airport - After lunch, take an afternoon flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, a local driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in downtown Shanghai.

Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall - Pickup from the hotel at 09:00. Visit the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall, which presents the city’s past and future from various perspectives, with the theme of “city, human, environment, development.”

Yu Garden (Yuyuan) - Yu Garden was completed in 1577 by a Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) government officer named Pan Yunduan. The garden was built for Pan’s parents as a place for them to enjoy a peaceful and happy time in their old age.

After visiting the beautiful Yu Garden, explore the lively Yuyuan Market, where you can find everything from traditional Chinese crafts like chopsticks, fans, and pottery to local delicacies such as steamed buns, crab shell cake, and pork chop with rice cakes. Remember to haggle for a better price.

Xintiandi - Xintiandi is a vibrant area for leisure and entertainment, featuring rows of shops and bars transformed from Shikumen houses.

The Bund - The Bund is one of Shanghai’s most famous landmarks. Located on the bank of the Huangpu River, it features 26 buildings of various architectural styles, including Gothic, Baroque, Romanesque, Classicism, and Renaissance, symbolizing Shanghai’s past.
