Mutianyu Great Wall - After breakfast at the hotel, a guide will pick you up from the hotel lobby. You will then drive to the Mutianyu Great Wall to see if it lives up to its reputation. This ancient military defense project is sure to impress. Walking along the stone paths and touching the beacon towers will transport you back in time. Be prepared for extensive walking and wear comfortable shoes. (Cable car is optional at CNY120 per person one way, toboggan is optional at CNY100 per person one way, payable on site.)
Dingling Underground Palace - Next, visit the Dingling Mausoleum, the underground tomb of Emperor Wanli from the Ming Dynasty. It is the only excavated imperial tomb among the Ming Thirteen Tombs, showcasing remarkable ancient architecture and artifacts.
Niaochao National Stadium - After this unforgettable experience, return to downtown Beijing and take photos of the Bird’s Nest (Beijing National Stadium) and Water Cube (Beijing National Aquatics Center). Both were designed for the 2008 Beijing Olympics and used for the 2022 Winter Olympic Games.

Forbidden City-The Palace Museum - The Forbidden City (closed on Mondays) is one of the largest and most well-preserved wooden palace complexes. It served as the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1912), housing 24 emperors.
Temple of Heaven - Located in southern Beijing, the Temple of Heaven served as a complex of sacrificial buildings where Ming and Qing Dynasty emperors prayed for peace and harvest.
Hutong Tour - Explore the local folk residences in Hutong Alley. You have the opportunity to take a rickshaw ride to explore Hutong and observe the daily life of native Beijingers (cost not included). With a local expert guide, discover a different side of the city, distinct from the major streets.
Beijing - Xi’an by High-Speed Train
Beijing West Railway Station - A driver will pick you up from your hotel around 05:30 to take the bullet train G89 (06:53-11:24) or a similar train to Xi’an. You will be met by a Xi’an guide and driver at the railway station.
Xi’an City Wall (Chengqiang) - The Xi’an Ancient City Wall is the most completely preserved and largest city wall in China, built for military defense during the Ming Dynasty, about 650 years ago. You can optionally ride a bike on the city wall.
Drum Tower Square - Visit Bell Tower & Drum Tower Square to view the Bell Tower and Drum Tower from the outside. Finally, visit the Muslim Quarter, Xi’an’s most famous food street.
Muslim Quarter - Located in the center of Xi’an city, the Muslim Quarter combines shopping malls, local food restaurants, and entertainment venues. It is a must-see spot for tourists, offering a unique historical atmosphere and diverse culture. You can optionally try some snacks here.
Xi’an
The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses - Known as “the Eighth Wonder of the World,” the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum showcases an impressive level of sculpture. Located 30 km east of Xi’an City, the original site was discovered by four local farmers while drilling a well in 1974. It is now one of China’s most important attractions and the top site in Xi’an. The museum includes Pit 1 (the largest), Pit 2, Pit 3, and the exhibition hall of the chariots and horses.
Xi’an - After visiting the Terracotta Warriors, children can enjoy making a small terracotta soldier replica, which can be taken home.
Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Dayanta) - In the afternoon, visit another Xi’an landmark - the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Standing about 65 meters tall, the pagoda was built in 652 (during the Tang Dynasty) to store Buddhist scriptures brought back by Xuanzang from India. Enjoy a relaxing time there.
Grand Tang Dynasty Ever Bright City - Afterwards, head to Grand Tang Dynasty Ever-bright City, located next to the Great Wild Goose Pagoda. Walking among the Tang Dynasty-style architecture feels like time travel.
Xi’an - Shanghai by High-Speed Train
Xi’an - A driver will meet you in the hotel lobby around 07:20 and escort you to the train station to take the bullet train G362 (08:49-14:45) or a similar train to Shanghai.
The Bund - The Bund is one of Shanghai’s most famous landmarks. Standing on the bank of the Huangpu River, the 26 buildings of various architectural styles, including Gothic, Baroque, Romanesque, Classicism, and Renaissance, symbolize Shanghai’s past.
Huangpu River - In the evening, enjoy a relaxing Huangpu River night cruise to take in the spectacular scenery along the banks. The Huangpu River divides Shanghai into Pudong and Puxi. Cruising on the river offers an unparalleled view of the city’s skyline and an unforgettable travel experience.
After the cruise, you will be escorted back to the hotel.

Shanghai Museum (Shanghai Bowuguan) - Visit the Shanghai Museum at People’s Square. Established in 1952, the museum houses over 120,000 rare cultural pieces from the Old Stone Age to modern times. The Shanghai Museum is closed on Mondays.
Yu Garden (Yuyuan) - Yuyuan Garden is a renowned classical garden originally built for Pan’s parents to enjoy a peaceful and happy time in their old age.
