• Ryugeji Temple - A temple offering a magnificent view of Mount Fuji and home to a national natural treasure tree. Established in 1670 during the early Edo period by the priest Nichigon, who had close ties with Ieyasu Tokugawa. This temple belongs to the Nichiren Buddhism branch and is situated at the base of Mount Udo in the Shimizu district of Shizuoka city. Renowned for its stunning view of Mount Fuji, it is also the resting place of Meiji period intellectual Chogyu TAKAYAMA. Note: Visitors must remove their shoes before entering the main hall.
• Ryugeji Temple - Vehicle service available from Ryugeji Temple to Miho no Matsubara.
• Miho Seacoast (Miho no Matsubara Beach) - Vehicle service available from Miho Beach to Shimizu Port.
• Shizuoka City Miho no Matsubara Culture & Creativity Center Mihoshirube - A newly opened center as of March 2019. Visitors can explore the history of Miho, the Hagoromo legend, and enjoy a short film about Miho no Matsubara. Even if the weather is unfavorable and Mt. Fuji is not visible from Miho Beach, there is still much to enjoy here.
• Miho Seacoast (Miho no Matsubara Beach) - Part of the Mt. Fuji World Heritage site. The view of Mt. Fuji from here is truly exceptional! The green pine tree grove, black sand beach, white waves, and blue sky create a picturesque scene that epitomizes Japan.

This tour takes you to three popular destinations around Shimizu. 1. Nihondaira Plateau, where you can enjoy the green tea fields and a view of Mt. Fuji at Nihondaira Ocha Kaikan and Nihondaira Yume Terrace Observatory. 2. Ryugeji Temple, a charming small temple known for its famous Cycas revoluta. 3. Miho Beach, featuring the Miho Pine Tree Grove, part of the Mt. Fuji World Heritage site, and the Miho no Matsugara Culture & Creativity Center.

Our licensed English-speaking guides, who are highly knowledgeable about the area, will accompany you. The tour is conducted in comfortable van taxis.

This tour is designed for those who may find it difficult to climb stairs to visit Kunozan Toshogu Shrine or prefer not to take the ropeway.

Note: The admission fee to Ryugeji Temple must be paid in JPY cash. Please remove your shoes when entering the building.
