Throughout the tour, the crew will diligently search for whales while guests relax safely at the rear of the boat. Once whales are spotted, guests will have the opportunity to observe them from the upper deck or the front of the boat for approximately one hour. With a bit of luck, there might even be a chance to witness them breaching.

The search for whales can last up to 3 hours. The tour may conclude earlier if whales are located quickly, with viewing time limited to one hour to ensure the whales’ tranquility.

Please note that whales are wild animals, and sightings cannot be guaranteed. From 1 Feb 2025 to 15 March 2025, refunds or complimentary re-boarding may be offered if no whales are sighted. If even one or two guests spot a whale or its blow, the tour is deemed successful, and no refund will be provided. By booking, guests agree to these terms.

• Set sail from Chatan at 9:00 or 13:30 for a whale watching experience lasting up to three hours
• Spend one hour observing the stunning humpback whales
