Had such an awesome... - Had such an awesome time🙂 We took the ropeway up to Mt. Mitake and hiked up to Musashi Mitake Shrine with our guide. So amazed that we were surrounded by such stunning nature just an hour away from downtown Tokyo. There was still snow on the trees from the previous week, the air was super crisp, and the views over the Tokyo suburbs and even the city center in the distance were just incredible. Stopping for soba noodles and warm amazake in that beautiful scenery was so refreshing. The thatched-roof shukubo (temple lodging) was charming — simple but stylish. I definitely plan to stay overnight there next time to soak in the calm and traditional atmosphere! The steep ropeway ride was thrilling, and it was especially fun to discover a vending machine offering wild boar meat and local miso soup! Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, making the whole experience unforgettable. Highly recommend👍
