While it’s wonderful that the quality of Japanese whisky is now recognized globally, it’s unfortunate that prices are skyrocketing each year, making it increasingly difficult to acquire. In light of this, how can international visitors enjoy Japanese whiskey during their travels?
This is why we have successfully partnered with seasoned Japanese whisky professionals who have been part of the local whisky community for years. We aim to provide whisky enthusiasts from around the world visiting Japan the chance to savor Japanese whisky. It would be our pleasure to share our collection with you!

Our team member include licensed babysitters who have worked abroad and group home for children. Our babysitting service is not only to take care of the children, but also to allow the children to enjoy traditional Japanese culture while parents enjoy the tour for their precious free time!

What a great time learning all about fabulous Japanese whiskey with Dan - A most excellent experience.
It was a great way to celebrate my husband's birthday. Dan was a phenomenal teacher in terms of explaining the process of whiskey, the different kinds and where they are from. In addition, we got to try 10 great whiskey that you wouldn't normally find back in the states. And as it was my husband's birthday, he added an additional one from Kieran that was quite amazing as well. All the whiskeys were excellent and it was really hard to choose a favorite, but we will definitely make sure to get one before we leave for the states. I wrote a lot of notes during the tasting, which will help us pick the right one.
I highly recommend Dan to anyone whether they are a newbie about whiskeys or a seasoned drinker like us willing to learn and try other less common types of Japanese whiskey. All will certainly find a favorite after this tasting experience.

Excellent experience - We learned a lot about Japanese whiskeys, the history of it. And where it is today and experienced over ten different whiskeys, we're the very knowledgeable leader.

Dan showed us and let us... - Dan showed us and let us sample a wide range of Japanese whiskeys so it was quite informative. We found a couple of new favorites and will definitely look for them when we get back home

Japan whisky life and culture - Easy to get to location. Guide Yukata was prompt and helpful. He provided a very good demonstration of Japanese whisky history and current brands. Recommend trying this tour if you are interested in tasting Japanese whisky. Enjoy the whisky and conversation!

Kampai! - This experience was the highlight of our trip! Shugo was AMAZING and made us feel really welcomed. He was genuinely excited to do the tasting with us and was super knowledgeable. Pour after pour, the order of the whiskeys was very thoughtful and the snacks he offered paired really well with each glass. We were relieved to find that the whiskeys we tried were exclusively sold in Japan which was really important to us in this experience. We had such good whiskeys and even better conversation that we could have easily stayed the whole night. Shugo even helped us with recommendations for the rest of our trip! He is truly a lifelong connection and we are so thankful he hosted our experience. Our only regret is that we forgot to ask for a group photo at the end. Many thanks to Shugo and Omoide team! HIGHLY recommend this tasting.

Top Whisky Tasting Experience - excellent introduction to Japanese whisky in a fun, intimate, and engaging setting. Dan was a wonderful guide to exploring lesser-known and newer Japanese whiskies that range from the elegant and subtle to the bold and mysterious.

The best! Highly recommended! - This was an amazing activity. Dan, our guide, met us as planned, and educated us about history and current status of Japanese whiskeys. Whiskeys for the tasting were not pre-selected - instead the selection evolved from our assessments of the whiskeys we tasted. Definitely high quality, and whiskeys we would not know about. Dan truly served as a guide through the tasting. We also learned a bit more about Tokyo. This experience was a highlight of our trip, and we give it our highest recommendation.it would be impossible to taste all of the whiskeys in one visit. We will book it again on our next trip and also book their sake tasting!

An Exceptional Whisky Experience with Hayato - Had an amazing experience on this Japanese whisky tour with Hayato. It ended up being a private tasting, which made it even better. Hayato was incredibly knowledgeable and easy to talk to — we had a great conversation about whisky, culture, and everything in between. The selection was top-notch, with a thoughtful range that really showcased how diverse Japanese whisky can be. I left with a much deeper appreciation for it and even discovered a few new favorites. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you’re lucky enough to have Hayato as your guide.
