• Muscle Shoals Sound Studio - This tour takes you through the legendary studio responsible for producing numerous hit records by artists such as the Rolling Stones, Bob Seger, Boz Scaggs, Paul Simon, The Staple Singers, Leon Russell, Rod Stewart, Rival Sons, Linda Ronstadt, and many others. The studio remains operational today. Merchandise is available for purchase to support our operations, which are managed by a 501C3 non-profit organization. Masks are currently required, and capacity is limited in accordance with state and federal guidelines.

In 1969, the group known as the Swampers established the Muscle Shoals Sound Studio, and it didn’t take long for renowned recording artists from around the globe to seek them out for their unique sound that made a lasting impact on American music. Thanks to the benefaction from Beats Electronics, this legendary studio has been meticulously refurbished. With its vintage gear in the upstairs control room and the distinct orange carpet in the Swampers’ downstairs party room, the studio is an exact replica of how it appeared during its golden era from 1969 to 1978. Step into the bathroom where Keith Richards perfected Wild Horses, or sit at the piano where Paul Simon composed Kodachrome.
