Not suitable for people who are not minimally fit. - The experience itself is extraordinary, what I won’t leave out is how crowded everything is and the constant harassment of children asking you to buy them, food and money. Let the guide propose to tip the Bedouin guide and still less pay two dollars to the museum that was supposed to include the visit. The information offered by the guide can be searched anywhere. The driver was more than enough.

Title: A very good choice - Mount Sinai trip is a challenging but rewarding experience, with amazing views from the summit. St. Catherine's Monastery is a historical and spiritual treasure. It was our first time booking with this operator and never regret dealing with them. From the time of booking they communicated with us giving us all instructions and comments we were happy with this caring. Their staff and Bedouin guides are knowledgeable and very helpful. Of course I highly recommend it.

Great and challenging Experience - We went on a trip to Mount Sinai with TourexEgypt. Everything was perfectly on time, the pick up and then reaching the area after 2 stops for rest. We reached the summit before sunrise. The view was worth every single step we took. The monastery was definitely awesome with this huge information. All in all was perfect and recommended.

Overall experience - The hike to Mt. Sinai and tour of St. Catherine Monastery was incredible. The views from above the mountain at sunrise are wonderful and Unbelievable The organization of the tour operator was well and on-point. St. Catherine's Monastery was a lovely experience, with ancient and stunning icons Our Bedouin guide was knowledgeable, patient, and helped make the hike enjoyable.

Title: A Journey of a Lifetime - First of all I want to thank the operator of this trip for all this good work and top high service. I'm still reeling from my trip to Mount Sinai and St. Catherine's Monastery in Sharm El Sheikh, and it's hard to put into words just how incredible it was 😍. The climb to the summit of Mount Sinai at dawn was a truly spiritual experience, with the sunrise casting a golden glow over the desert landscape. St. Catherine's Monastery is a holy trove of history. Our guide was exceptional, sharing insights and stories that brought the history to life. The combination of natural beauty, spiritual significance, and rich history makes this trip an absolute must-do in Sharm El Sheikh. I'm so grateful for the experience and can't recommend it enough 🙏.

It was really tough, but... - It was really tough, but the guides showed us the way and motivated us, so it was a wonderful experience!

majestic site, deplorable organization - The site is majestic and steeped in spirituality; you must deserve the fantastic view and sunrise because the night climb is difficult and requires good physical condition and especially good equipment, negative temperatures at the summit and strong winds. A unique experience, unfortunately wasted by a deplorable organization: many hours wasted passing from hotel to hotel then during stops to and from gas stations to encourage tourists to consume or just for breaks of guides and drivers, nearly 2 hours waiting to sleep in a freezing cold at the top for sunrise (under shelter certainly but very uncomfortable), an aggressive guide and not able to communicate properly in English, a state of fatigue that unfortunately does not allow to appreciate the visit of the monastery following the ascent. In the end an excursion of 18H (!) from which we emerge exhausted (not recommended to young children) and well frustrated, despite a breathtaking natural site.

Great hike, great sight, weak operator, frustrating - Watching the sun rise over Mount Sinai is beautiful and inspiring - the activity itself is very worthwhile. But I would not want to use this operator again. After our 7.45 pm pickup from our hotel, we had a full hour and forty five minutes of driving through Sharm picking up other participants. That is unpleasant and unreasonable. A couple of stops is understandable, but this amount of delay and wasted time for us soured the experience from the start. It was similar on the way back although it is possible that they rearranged the drop offs to reduce our wasted time given a flight we had to catch. Relatedly, we made 20+ minute stops enroute, including on the return when almost no one disembarked for the toilets as we were all exhausted. It seemed pointless and possibly an attempt to funnel business to the egregiously overpriced rest area kiosk (perhaps a revenue share with the tour operator?). Many hours of this program could be saved, and a much better experience provided, with a little more thought. It would be worth the operator considering whether to jettison the "tour" of the monastery that follows the late night hike. The hike is strenuous and staying up all night is tiring. We would have much preferred simply catching our breath and heading home, having by then been up for more than 24 hours, rather than having an additional hour long visit to the monastery afterwards. Views may differ on this. The following is true of virtually all such excursions in Egypt, but be advised that you are paying for nothing more than a bus ride (note that unspecified entrance fees of 10 Euros are separately collected), because the Bedouin guides, and (perhaps to a lesser degree) the bus driver and on-bus guide almost entirely depend on tips. This is a cruel and unfair labor practice that permeates the entire tourist sector in Egypt; it is wrong and should be changed, out of fairness to workers (not to mention reducing discomfort for tourists). This is a comment on the industry generally.
