Mount Sinai and St Catherine’s monastery from Sharm el Sheikh - This was a fantastic trip with our own driver and own guide looking after us throughout.
It’s a pretty hard climb and I was very glad I took a camel on the way up. I still had enough work to do to climb the steps to the top and get all the way back down under my own steam, so I didn’t feel I missed out on the hiking and LOVED the camel ride (this cost 850 Egyptian pounds extra plus tip). My husband walked the whole route and kept up with the camel fine, but he’s much fitter than me!
Our Bedouin guide Jamal was brilliant - he helped get blankets and a place to rest while we waited for sunrise, took photos of us and gave us lots of information about the Bedouin. He even showed us around St Catherine's monastery when we got to the bottom of Mt Sinai.
Jamal offered to show us the nearby Bedouin village but we were so tired after a sleepless night and the climb and still had the 3 hour drive to get back to the hotel so we didn’t do it (although looking back now I wish we had).
Overall, it was a magical experience and we were glad to have spent the extra money to be able to have our own driver and guide.

Straight 5 stars tour! - Wish I could give this tour more than 5 stars.. I literally had the best time since very long time. The whole experience was utterly amazing. Start to end. Very very friendly staff from the driver to the guide, to the bedouins. Everything deserves 5 stars. Although I admit it was a bit overpriced, but the price gets reduced when you're more than 1 person.

A Transformational Experience! - If you desire to climb to the top of the mountain where Moses received the 10 Commandments, I highly recommend this tour if it is your 1st time. Ahmed was my guide. I would have never made it to the top without him. He never left my side, and continually provided support and encouragement each step of the way. He’s been a guide for 17 years and is highly respected. He explained so many questions that I had. He was extremely thorough on the tour while respecting my prayer, meditation, and queit time. I took the camel up to the stairs then walked all 750. I didn’t have on hiking shoes so I slid a few times. I also suggest going in the evening while it’s dark so you’re not looking down as much. There were many security check points that my driver and were stopped at to verify and check my passport so don’t forget to bring that along as well.

Great Tour - The tour was a great experience for us. Hiking up the mountain at night is fantastic, as well as the view in the morning.
The pick up and transfer was very well organized - we got a call 1 day before with our exact pickup time. Our guide was waiting for us on the foot of moses moutain to guide us up.
Well done and thank you

Day trip to the pyramids - After using Emo Tours for an airport transfer, we booked a private tour of the pyramids with them. Mohamed Hamad went above and beyond to make sure we had the best day possible, taking us to all of the best locations to see the pyramids. He took all of our photos and made sure we had the best experience. After the tour he gave us the option to visit a perfume shop which we thoroughly enjoyed and added to the cultural experience. After the tour we asked for restaurant recommendations and asked to be dropped off. Mohamed Hamad took us to a traditional Egyptian restaurant where he waited before taking us back to our hotel. Nothing was an issue for him. I would highly recommend Emo Tours and and Mohamed Hamad.

Amazing 1Day-tour with Ola in Cairo - I spent a really nice day with Ola from Emo Tours. Ola is very professional, kind and flexible. Her english is very good and understandable :-). I could get all the answers of my questions about the Egyptian culture, art, and richness. The tour was very well organized and pick up was on time in the hotel. The car was cleaned and very comfortable. The driver, Mahmoud is very nice and a very good driver, which is something to take into account in the Cairo traffic. I had an exceptional day with them, they really make the difference and I greatly recommend this duo.

Cairo done right - We booked with Emo Tours for our visit to Luxor and Cairo. Luxor was amazing and we had an amazing time with an excellent guide. Cairo was wonderful and better than Luxor. There is so much more to see and do here. Our guide Ola is a wonderful person. She is so friendly and helpful. Always smiling and willing to go out of her way to help you and make you feel comfortable. We spent 2 days with her in Cairo and she took us to the Pyramids, Sphinx, camel ride around the pyramid, the Solar ship, Egyptian Museum, Khan Khalili Bazaar, Mosques of Imam Hussein and Zayeda Zainab to name a few places. The driver Mohammed was also a very friendly man, always smiling and went out of his way to bring some stuff for us from the market. Ola has a lot of historical knowledge and is always wiling to answer any question you send her way. She helped us shopping as well by bargaining with shop keepers and getting us some good deals. I highly recommend Ola as a guide in Cairo. She speaks english very well and its very easy to converse with her. Emo tours is the way to go without a doubt and Ola is the one to ask for at Emo tours.

8am pick up. Three hour... - 8am pick up. Three hour drive from Sharm, our driver did not speak English neither did our guide. We did not get bottled water or anything else to drink from this tour company. We took the camels for the 7km up hill walk. Camels are $650egp each and worth every penny. Believe me the 750 stair climb you have to make to get to the peak is no joke. Be ready to sweat. It is very cold and windy at the top. I had a tea at the coffee shop on the top of the mountain, cost $50egp, they also have chocolate bars, not sure of the price. To use the outhouse you must pay $5egp (Bring your own toilet paper because they have none)
They have bed rolls and blankets to rent for $100egp each.
Beautiful sunrise.
Completely exhausted by the time we made the walk back down to the monastery. Monastery doesn’t open until 9am, we got there at 8am. We sat inside the entrance which is breathtaking then decided we wanted shower, food and bed more so headed back to our driver. At one of the check points we were told not safe on the road, so we were held back at the police check point until a military escort could be arranged, this took until 10am. Then the long 3hour drive back to Sharm. Got back to our hotel in Sharm at 1pm.
