Excellent - The bus is comfortable. The guide Ahmed was par excellence! Not only is he passionate about subject he helped us negotiate some good shopping deals as well There are stops in between for comfort etc. We were six English speakers in a Russian Belarusian mix crowd but we received our own personalised guide once we reached Cairo!

Experience that I recommend! - Very nice excursion, pyramids a must see. Tiring but doable bus journey, worth it. Our guide Aziz was very good and helpful (I hope he can come to Italy one day 🤞🏻)

Day trip to Cairo and the pyramids. - The tour was absolutely brilliant from pick up to drop of. Our tour guide fahmed was amazing and he made the tour even better by adding his own personal touch to our trip. He explains in great detail about every places we visited with a lot of knowledge about the culture. Just truly amazing day.

A trip to the pyramids - Where do I start, well the trip is tremendous, but the journey all in all was 26 hours, on the way there we had 2 toilet stops the first was fine the second disgusting… the reclining seats on the coach can be a bit of a pain if someone in front wishes to lie on your knee your room is restricted. The guide we had was a English speaking guide called Fahme he was absolutely amazing got us all round everywhere took some amazing photos for us he had really good knowledge about the sights we was seeing and warned us about the street hawkers in there and what to do, also said if we had a problems to go for him. The lunch in the restaurant was good and plentiful with very clean toilets, we had 2 extra stops one at the paper making museum which was very interesting and one at the perfume shop a good stop for a last toilet trip, (with no pressure to buy at any) before starting the journey back to our hotel. All in all a fantastic trip that I would highly recommend if you can handle the long coach journey. I will certainly use the company again if we come back to Egypt to go the The valley of the kings… Thank you very much for a lovely long day out…. Also may I say they keep in touch to give you import information… A well satisfied customer Alison, One last thing I forgot to mention it was a bit chilly on the Nile (so you may need a jacket or cardigan, Fahme gave me he’s because I never took one. Which was very kind of him😂

Fabulous day out in Cairo - This was a very busy day and the trip is about 27 hours so beware. Bus ride is tedious and long and one toilet stop but they were disgusting so I'd recommend using the bus toilet as its far cleaner. The pyramids were amazing and our guide Behary was so knowledgable and passionate about his country. The selling of momentoes is constant and in your face, just stand your ground. The dinner was plentiful in a clean restaurant. 2 destinations were added a paper making workshop which was really interesting and a perfume shop that was a nice rest at the end and you weren't hassled to buy anything and the last decent toilet stop.

Bad nights but great day. - Mixed emotions about this trip and will write with total honesty. Starting with the night journey to Cairo on the convoy bus. The bus arrived at 1:30 am and emptied with the previous people who had been to Cairo the day before. We then borded straight after, which ment the toilet had not been emptied from the previous customers. It smelt awful and was unusable. We did stop at a service station but the toilets there were not really any better. I was travelling with children and an elderly parent and this was not good. The driver also chained smoked the whole way there while driving and the smell and smoke started to effect me. When we arrived in Cairo we we split into a small group of 11 people for the English tour. This was really good! Our guide was Femi and he looked after my elderly mother, providing places for her to sit and getting the shuttle bus to come to her so she did not have to walk far. Cairo is not really that accessible for disabled or elderly people so please bear this in mind. There are lots of steps and hills at the attractions. However, Femi tried his best and we really appreciated that. He was very good at taking photos and gave great information. He even provided pop and ice cream for the kids at no extra charge. He arranged for the horse and cart for my mom and the kids to have a camel the price was £20 which we thought was great. The night return journey was just as bad if not worse than going because we were tired and the toilet had still not been emptied. We arrived back at the hotel around 2:30 am. The day in Cairo was really good would recommend that to anyone but going by bus you need to be prepared for a really long drive 8-9 hours because of the check points and the convoy is police escorted and this takes time. However, I appreciated the security of the police being there and understood the reasons why we had to wait at times. If your on a budget, young and don't mind roughing it then you will be fine but you might be better flying.

Meh - Not great, you get what you pay for. Don't believe the 7-8 hour ride thing, expect 10 - 11 hours each way. Guide Fahme was very good and entertaining, it gets 3* just for him. Be prepared to be strategically dropped off for big sales pitches at oil and papyrus establishments. Pyramids were 'meh'.

Bad experience - The bus ride took more than 10 hours, half of which was waiting at gas stations where the rest of the convoy was also standing. So long queues at the toilets. We were also not told that we were going to stop somewhere and for how long. Cairo was beautiful, partly thanks to the local guide. Very sad how horses and dromedaries were treated in Cairo. Apparently they have no animal protection there.
